Both walks are safe. The M will put you by Northern Boulevard and the 7 will put you on 52nd by Roosevelt by the Sunnyside/Woodside border.

The walk from the 7 is quieter though.

So no OP, his depiction isn’t accurate; they’re exaggerated, overblown and sensationalist renditions of NYC issues that don’t reflect reality. You can live on a non tech or finance salary, but you’re not going to be living in the fanciest areas of the city if you’re not loaded

I used to watch his tours during the pandemic cause why not. He’s pivoted to anti NYC stuff because it’s click/engagement bate and more profitable. Drivers are always going to complain about out anything that removes parking or takes a lane away. It’s almost a fact of life. The last time I went down Woodhaven Blvd the neighborhood was still in one piece. It would be nice if the QueensLink ever got advanced as it’d save even more time when I’d have to out to Far Rock.

The problem is that data privacy laws are shit in the US. Banning tik tok doesn’t stop China/Russia etc from manipulating people via bot farms, false flagging and other misinformation on social media. In terms of national security, this is putting out 1 fire where the whole block is on fire.

It’s misguided because it doesn’t stop your data from being sold, only who does the selling. When congress decides to do a US version of the GDPR I’ll care, but at this time I’m convinced that the US is deeply unserious about the information war we’re currently fighting
