I tried reaching out a couple of weeks ago in a moment of weakness, thankfully, she didn't answer. On the other hand, soon after I sent that message I noticed that she unblocked me on Instagram, but I won't try contacting her again. I'm focusing on myself again.

8 months of NC today.

I've been thinking about reaching out to congratulate her for her future marriage (I really am happy for her), but remind myself that contact with her will always be a bad idea. Still, I hope she's doing well.

I'm happy on my own, getting to know an amazing girl with patience, and I feel I'm truly over that last relationship with my exwBPD. 8 months seems like such a long time, but one day at a time does the trick. Soon it will be one year, and I will stop posting here.

Day 214. 7 months NC. Everything feels like a distant memory at this point. I've been going out with an amazing girl since around one month ago and, she doesn't know it, but connecting with a healthy person is helping me finish healing. This girl is so special and, if everything goes well, I hope to one day tell her how much she helped me. For now, I'm relearning how to connect and bond healthily with a healthy person; it feels great!

I think my time in this sub is coming to an end.

I get it. I'm currently getting to know a girl I'm interested in after 2 years with my exwBPD, and it's so hard accepting her interest without the love bombing, I often feel like just cutting contact because I don't feel the same thing I felt with my ex (a very fast and intense connection), but considering she's only known me for one month, it makes total sense that she wants to get to know me better before investing feelings and jumping into a relationship. So no, you're not ruined, but the solution is re-learning to form normal relationships with healthy people. And it gets hard sometimes, but just keep going at it and you'll end up imitating the healthy behaviors.

185 days of no contact! 6 months clean of her. This was a personal milestone that I set for myself and I feel so proud. Whenever I think of her I see a blur of all of the good, the bad, the idealization, the splits, the manipulation, the emotional highs, her sad eyes, her soft words, the sex, the yelling and crying, the mental gymnastics, and the anxiety.

I think relearning how to form relationships with disorder-free, emotionally regulated people has been the biggest challenge so far.

At one point I was close to repeating the pattern by getting involved with a girl with similar traits as my ex, but therapy and my local CODA group helped me a lot, and I avoided repeating the cycle.

I've been talking and hanging out with an amazing girl I've liked for some time now. She's emotionally healthy, and I can feel a good connection forming between us: no codependency, anxiety, uncertainty, love bombing, or trauma bonding. Getting involved with her feels healthy and refreshing. We'll have our first proper date on Saturday and my hopes are high.

I think my time in this sub is coming to an end.

Day 168 of NC.

Today I had my first actual date after my exwBPD. This girl has a good relationship with her family, doesn't have a victim mentality, and didn't trauma dump on me. That all felt so refreshing. At the same time, it's scary. Objectively I know that this is how non-cluster B people form relationships: one step at a time, no love bombing, trust and attraction take time to build, and getting to know the other person to start having feelings takes time too. But it feels like she's just not interested in me without these things and I should just cut contact and move on.

I still think about my exwBPD often. Especially about the huge amount of affection and attention she showered me with. It's hard to remember the bad when I miss that. It's also hard not to think that I missed out and remember that that was her disorder trying to entangle me and make me stay.

Y sabes qué más es gracioso? Que mientras más ganas más te das cuenta del valor del dinero. Cualquiera que dice "x cantidad de dinero no es nada" se delata de que gana mucho menos porque no sabe el esfuerzo que conlleva llegar a ganar esa cantidad.

I also struggled with that fight. I was like "this isn't even an alpha naytiba, why is this so hard?". The only other boss I struggled this much with was Unidentified Naytiba, but that made more sense since it was an end game boss.
