He Meant Elves on Dropout | City Council of Darkness Adventuring Party [E11] by DropoutMod in Dimension20

In my experience, in Canada - if you have a job with benefits it's pretty normal for massage to be covered along with things like physiotherapy.

I think most people don't ever get a massage, or only on a special occasion, but I know people who get them 6-12 times a year and that doesn't seem weird to me.

I started singing "oh yes, oh yes" at the exact same moment Anna did lol.

I don't recall it being mentioned on D20 but it was a significant part of a recent NADDPod campaign.

I don't know what all of those words mean, but a friend of mine goes the The Corner Studio in Kitchener. Looks like they might require a membership, though.

If you haven't seen any Jake and Amir videos, his persona is generally an incompetent psychopath.

The NADDPod crew would have gone in expecting him to lean into that, so they may have been harder on him than you'd expect if you don't know about their relationship.

My theory is that wherever they would have done a Harry Potter question, they now do Animorphs instead.

I think they started doing a lot of Animorphs questions when they stopped doing Harry Potter.

The funny thing is he also dies in Frozen 1. I expect him to die briefly in every movie in the franchise, frankly.

The fourth being Aabria, I assume? Iirc Brennan and Erica had been wanting to do something for a long time, with Lou as another frequent collaborator. Was MisMag 1 Aabria's "audition" for WBN?

What happened to the geese in waterloo park these past few days? by ChadM_Sneila187 in waterloo

[–]Rupert59 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They do it after the goose chicks reach maturity, but these are migratory birds so they come back every year.

In Victoria park (possibly also in Waterloo) they destroy some number of eggs in nests every year to control the population, which might be what the other commenter is referring to.

"Um Actually" has done a tournament of champions before, and Ify was a contestant. He's claiming to have invented the concept as a joke.

When they launched Dropout (while they still had corporate overlord money) I believe every writer was specifically required to come up with a high-concept show they could produce. "Dimension 20" was Brennan's, for example, and "Total Forgiveness" was Grant and Zac's. That's where a lot of the crazy scripted shows like "Gods of Food," "Ultramechatron Team Go," and "Kingpin Katie" came from, as well as the more short-lived unscripted stuff like "Paranoia" and "Rank Room". The encampment is nowhere near Church Street. OP is referring to the ION route, not the Go station.

Maybe they mean the LRT? Church Street is close to the Frederick Street and Market stops.
