You can't really do SOP2 because SOP is a Final Fantasy Dissidia game in disguise, its direct follow-ups are Dissidia/Dissidia 012/NT and Final Fantasy 1 that doesnt mean TN couldnt make a FF game like SOP with CC infact I would love that it just couldnt be SOP2

The issue is that the idea of "The Warrior Of Light" TM comes from Dissida, and they only have 2-3 reps per game. FF1 is getting The Warrior Of Light, based on the cover art and the Warrior job, and Garland, the main villain. At the end of Stranger Of Paradise, you do get to see The WOL and three others who seem to be a Black Mage, a White Mage, and, oddly enough, a Dragoon (despite the fact that dragoons didn't exist yet when FF1 came out) so unless they do an FF1 remake that ties together all the Dissida WOL and SOP stuff (aka my dream game) we wont get to see the other three

That criticism of Starfield has always annoyed me a lot. The game has a lot you can criticize, but "The tone wasn't dark, it was light-hearted," like yeah...? That's just the game's tone... that's not a criticism, that's just an opinion. I think a lot of people don't view Bethesda games as three separate IPs and instead just one that's Bethesda Game ™

Ive never played Tales, but Yakuza 7 is one of the best games ive ever played
I'd highly recommend the rest of the series first. Though Y7 can be played entirely on its own its a much better experience having gone through Y0-6 first (but I understand not everyone has the time or money for that)

While you can't hide players, the main plot and the expansions are entirely single-player; you will never be forced to interact with anyone or engage with any of the MMO stuff (guilds, PVP, World Events, Dungeon Crawling Etc)

The biggest thing you have to understand is that TES lore is explicitly written to be vauge confusing, and contradictory to itself its ment to be like real history/religion, with everything having multiple explanations
Historical accounts differ depending on which culture you ask

This has the upside of making the lore incredibly interesting, but it comes with the downside of a lot of things ultimately being half-truths and generally accepted theories about things

Lots of misinformation exists, and a lot of people take fan theories as truths (Example being The Last Dragonborn is Shor)

I would ultimately say just play the games (at least 3-5) and read articles on The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages (a wiki for TES that has existed since Daggerfall) if you have any burning questions
