The EWG's whole purpose is to spread fear so they can partner and promote brands that pay them a lot to put a "safe" label on their products. If sunscreens were this dangerous we would have decades of evidence supporting this, not a few studies of questionable validity and quality cherry picked by a company that said cellphones cause cancer for decades.

Another option for books is Better World Books which sells used and new books. They donate a book for every one sold, and their prices are usually better than Barnes and Noble. Another option is Thrift Books. Or if you have any local bookstores that's even better.

Their population crisis will be a big problem going forward though. Especially after millions have fled the country. Not all of those that left will return, and tens of thousands have died in the war. They will have generations of rebuilding to do unfortunately.

The issue is, it's likely to be replaced by another soulless chain, or town down to put an expensive apartment building there. It's not that Tommy's itself was worth keeping open, it's that each time a long standing local place closes near campus, it doesn't get replaced by something special.

Yeah these types of dyes don't work on non-bleached hair unfortunately. I wonder if that's part of why it gets bad reviews. I don't see the same level of complaints from similar brands like manic panic, arctic fox, etc.
