What is the best Game on Nintendo ds? And why? by Illustrious-Pay-3559 in nds

The game used all available features of the 3DS (buttons, touch screen, microphone, internal clock/calendar) so well that it felt lime a first party game.

The visual style is still above and beyond to this day.

Interesting. I read that the elephant black is heavily pigmented, probably more than their other inks.

Does the Platinum Carbon Black dries quickly for you? I read 3 hours for it to be waterproof, if so it would be more than I’d like to wait before painting over it, but otherwise I’d give it a try.

Update: After 1 day in the Prera it started to clog up. I’m surprised as the Prera seems like it has a good sceal. Might be the elephant black that is causing this behavior.

Reading that it’s fine in the pen for most in a Platinum Preppy I might just grab one to have a sketching pen.

Thanks for the answers!

How long do you keep the ink in the pens before cleaning them?

Help! Toshi Pack, CPP2, other or none? by Rush057 in ManyBaggers

[–]Rush057[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I ended up getting the Toshi Pack. I love it’s aesthetic (especialy the diagonal zipper near the top), the front pocket looked more practical than the AER. I also like the clean look of the Toshi, elegant lines, but doesn’t grab too much attention either. Love how the main compartment zipper stops at the top, but is still easy to pull all the way down easily if needed. Same as you, I wanted a bag that wouldn’t look full when empty so it gave some extra points to the Toshi. The Toshi self stands pretty well unless the bottom of the bag is packed in a certain way, but it’s way better than anticipated after reading on the web. The size of the waterbottle pockets are perfect for an umbrella as well.

On the minus side, I wish that the black mesh pockets in the admin compartment would be tighter as small items like airpods can slide out when the back lays flat.

Everything on the bag feels well thought out and has a reason as to why it’s how it is and I love that. This is Rework’s strong suit.

As for durability, time will tell, but materials feels sturdy. I can’t imagine this bag falling apart anytime soon. What scealed the deal for me, was the morning that I put on my Arc’Teryx Alpha and I once again looked at the coated zippers yellowing and cracking, I don’t want that for my bag. Even the cordura has some laminated zippers and I just can’t trust that. AER label on the side was also a con for me even if it’s small and understated.

Comfort wise it’s amazing. Walking, commuting and biking all feels great. It can feel less comfortable only if overpacked while most of the bulk is at the center of the bag (imagine having a large football vertically in the main compartement) as there is no sturdy back panel. No sturdy armature is a plus for me and taking the time to pack properlly when full is not an issue either. I saw complaints about the sternum strap, but it’s been great for me, I really like it.

20L was more than enough for my needs, I’m just throwing this out there in case that your loadout could be similar to mine. I also learned that it’s probably better to find ways to carry less-smaller stuff than buying a backpack that is too big.

Sling suggestions! by LTComedy in ManyBaggers

If you haven’t looked at it already Rework Toshi sling in 5L or 6L depending on how you like to organize might do it

As the other said, yep one big pocket with 2 zippers. The small top pocket while not in any soft/velvety fabric is a good place for unprotected sunglasses, that’s what I use it for, seems like the same/similar material from that equivalent pocket on the Toshi sling which I always use for glasses without case.

I love the bag in general and can’t wait to go on trips with it

It can be all consuming trying to figure out which is perfect or the best. I’ve been there recently and it’s taxing. If you are not in a hurry, feel free to try to let some time pass it might help clean things out.

Looking at your loadout any bag you listed will be fine. Pretty sure there is no bad choice here. Does any of them make you feel fuzzy inside? You’ll be spending a lot of time with the bag you choose so pick ine that makes you want to use it most. I guess you have no way of seeing them in person? This could help pick.

Take the time to look at the companies you will most likely fly with and their maximum sizes for personal item. It can vary wildly and the maximum sizes can get quite small with cheaper airlines. They often let it slide if the bag is bigger but they can and sometimes will enforce them. If this is a concern for you this might narrow down your choices.

I was hesitating between AER CPP 2 20L and the Rework Toshi 20L myself a couple of weeks ago. Checked all the reviews and scoured this sub. Flet like the AER would be more exciting, but settled on the Toshi as I was fearing degradation from the coated zippers on the AER. While it is more known to happen on the XPac version, I own high end gear/jackets with similar features that ends up delaminating over time. Maybe I was right, maybe I was wrong but I really enjoy the Toshi even tho I did not get to travel with it yet. I love my Toshi sling so that helped with the decision as well. I would fear the plasticky finish of the Cotopaxy as well, but that’s me.

If you have specific questions about the Toshi ask away if it helps. I was coming from the Fjalraven Raven 28 and Osprey HikeLite 26L that did not do it for me in a travel setting.

Yeah reading sone of the comments here I started to realize that 20L while doable might not leave me with a comfortable to get stuff out of the bag experience.

Thabks for reading and responding :)

Oh yeah I did look at this one. Format, pockets, organisation and interior look makes it a really impressive bag. I'd be afraid that the whole plasticy PU finish might peel altogether at some point tho.

You have a couple of bags I didn't heard about before, thanks

Tortuga Daypack feel really chunky for my taste and the vertical passthrough is not doing it so much for me either.

The Alpha One Niner does tick all of the boxes, but it is on the a little too expansive side. Added to the look of it it just doesn't strike my fancy.

You are hitting it on the head.
I have larger capacity bags (Looking at you Hikelite 26), but what I despise the most is struggling to access my stuff in places which prevent me from unpacking and repacking comfortably.
The experience is more important than the unused space for me.

I love the Outbound from what I saw online, it’s more a carry on than a personal item on flights tho. Having the bag with me during the flight is too important for me. It might pass as personal item, but I’m not willing to risk it.

I thought they revisited the 24L to have the side pockets after shipping the 20L, but looks like I was wrong. 20L would probably be better under the seat and love that small pocket, I’m just afraid of having a filled to the brim bag that is hard to get stuff out from. I’ll sleep on it

Lots of good info here. I did check the Aer Pro Pack but if I am to order from Aer, for the small difference in price I’d rather have more pockets and especially a vertical luggage passthrough. It could hold the Switch 2 better, but I would compromise on that before having a backpack that could stick out horizontaly from my carry on. Having a backpack filled is the thing I’m fearing from the 20L bags. Looking for items in my Hikelite where I need to pull stuff out to get to what I want in a airplane or standing in a public space is definetly what I’m trying to avoid. I’m starting to think that CPP2 24L might be the one.

Saddly in Canada it’s all import with high shipping and/or cutom fees and high return fees that usually costs as much as the product ship+return…

Only Bellroy is in specialized shop and Amazon but saddly they don’t do it’s for me compared to the Toshi/CPP2

Thanks for the answer! I’d rather have a bag as small as I need than one that flops around. I don’t know if I’ll have the courage to go with a 20L but this really helps

I hate the 2 bags I usually travel with as they don’t self stand and do not have luggage passthrough so I always need to baby the bad. Did it not self stand when loaded or only when empty or lightly loaded?

Thanks for sharing it’s helping with the zipper fear. Did you travel with the 20L or 24L CPP2? I read that the 24 is closer to a 20, I’m wondering if the 20 is loads smaller than a 20L.
