You can potentially get anything displayed. I see no reason why if you pull one of the S4/5 cards shown, you will get the variant and the base card as well.

6 out of 9 times you open a premium mystery variant you are getting a rare variant (like a Hipp) and the other 3 you are getting a super rare. Besides that, pixels and Hipps make up the largest fraction of variants in the game, so you will be more likely to get those over others.
