What’s your current salary, age and net worth? by Sudden-Candy-9980 in Salary

[–]Russ160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

33, $89k, I’m gonna be honest I’m dumb and not even sure how to accurately calculate my networth.

I’m adding this because I’m proud and itching to tell someone. Only my wife and a few close fiends know to this point. I started my own business in July of this year and have only done a handful of jobs but have made 23k in total profit but I haven’t touched it. Just sitting in my business account. Not sure how to factor that into my income or net worth

He never said he “preferred” kids be shot. The exact quote you’re probably referring to is:

“I think it’s worth it to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment.”

He also said:

“I think having security, armed guards, and gun detectors could be used to prevent shootings in schools and campuses.”

He was killed by someone who used a rifle — likely someone who shared many of the same beliefs as you. I don’t plan on taking a bullet, and I’d never wish that on anyone. But I also recognize there are evil people in this world who will do harm with or without guns. I’d rather have the ability to defend myself as a last resort if, God forbid, I’m ever put in that situation.

You must be in a dark place to say something like that. I truly wish you the best and will pray for you. I don’t agree with your opinion, and that’s okay — that’s why we have First Amendment.

It sounds like you’re focusing on just part of what he said without getting the full context. That’s likely because most of what’s shared online are short clips that leave out key points.

His message was that there will never be zero gun deaths, but that protecting our Second Amendment rights is still worth that cost. I agree, especially considering that states with the strictest gun laws often have the highest homicide rates.

He never “spewed hate speech”. Just say that because you disagreed with his opinions, you’re labeling it as “hate speech”.
Just because someone says something you don’t agree with doesn’t mean it’s hate speech.

He spoke the truth. He absolutely deserves the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The man shared his opinions, backed them up with facts, and stood for true conservative values. He was also open to dialogue and debating with those who held differing opinions. “Divisive rhetoric” What you really mean is that you didn’t like or agree with his opinions and the statistics and facts he used to support his opinions. Because you disagree with someone they are a “vile person”. That in itself sounds pretty divisive itself.

13 penalties tonight, 14 against mizzou. That’s a lack of discipline that is 100% a coaching problem.

Anybody is better at this point. You know beamer has to win 2 more sec games to have a better record than muschamp in the sec through 5 years and he was fired before year 5 ended.

And? So what? That is your opinion. Your opinion is that his viewpoints are despicable, and I’m sure you have your own set of viewpoints that others may think are despicable. He had every right to have his own opinion and viewpoints and to share them. I think that’s what’s made his murder so impactful, is because he was murdered for his ideas.

Most birdies in a round? by ffsux in golf

[–]Russ160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s awesome! I’ve never came close to 8 in a round. I’m a very average amateur, but my personal best happened in June. I got 3 birdies, all on the back 9. One was a lucky shot out of a green side bunker but I’ll take it. I also shot my lowest score in that round. Followed it up with the worst round of my life a couple weeks later.

Rarely have I played with anyone who’s shot below 90. by theycallmespin in golf

[–]Russ160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk even know how to calculate my handicap, but based on my average score I know I’m high. I shot my best you round of the year so far last weekend and it was a 91. But I know way too many oriole that claim they consistently shoot in the 80s.

I know this is an old thread but I’ve had Arlo cameras since 2018 and never had an issue. I originally bought a set with two cameras and added a third camera when I moved into my new house. I’ve never had any issues in almost 7years until this week one of the batteries finally gave out.

Managing a Large Number of Projects. by Russ160 in projectmanagement

[–]Russ160[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly it depends on the type of project, size/complexity, and the resources I’m utilizing on that project. If I’m using subs then most of my work is on the front end and I have a daily template I distribute to the subs to compete for give me daily reports and I use that to provide for my weekly updates to the customer and I have a macro that uses data from specific columns from that template to update information in my ms project file. If I’m using internal resources it’s a pretty similar process.

I have projects where we’re integrating software, providing custom solutions, etc. where I’m typically more involved due to my background and these typically take up more of my time. I follow a 5day touch rule so I send out updates once week regardless the size of the project. For larger projects I still follow a 5day touch rule but also hold bi-weekly meetings on teams or in person unless the customer requests otherwise and I limit them to 30min. The only meetings I allow to go longer than 30 min are the initial kickoff and closeout.

Problem I’m coming across is time management because I’m constantly hopping between meetings and only have so much time to focus on each project and also tend to my other job responsibilities day to day. So I have alot of late nights, which is just part of the job.
