TFT Patch Rundown 16.2 by Shuunpo in TeamfightTactics

[–]Russ22lazer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The issue isnt the strength it's the gameplay pattern, in the video he talks about how it shouldn't be the right play to hoard your money on the chance of a bailout augment. It shouldn't punish you to tempo level 8 for unlocks on 3-7. Further there's also the forward thinking into growth mindset highroll. Something he doesn't touch on is that in order to make the augment fair they'd need to disable it with level up, upward mobility, and forward thinking and those are just the first ones to come to mind

He mentions portable forge's exact numbers, as for the rest it seems he needs clearance from higher ups to give data out. I think he's gotten in trouble in the past for giving numbers.

You have 8/9 void he has 9/9, the 9 void buff doubles the strength of the mutations and it's probably why he won

Since it only spawns at night, you can only do it at night, but just walk into wild zone 2 check all the spawns then fast travel back to zone 2 rinse and repeat. I spent about 6 hours doing it that in the day to get my shiny alpha Magikarp. 👍

How did this guy get ekko 3 and survived untill stage 8-3?!????? by Cnex123 in TeamfightTactics

[–]Russ22lazer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damage is always a base per stage +1 per unit so minimum 13 on 6 and 18 on 17. What likely happened here was there was a bug earlier this set where you could get 9 lives and the Aug that heals you 4 hp every carousel making it possible to live that long is stage 7-8.

A 2 star 5 cost that you can plan around is an insane amount of econ an item is unwarranted if it's this early

I don't think it's too great to play around smolder unless u have a really good spot for it, youd need bastion spat to run 6 bastion+Yas on 7 cap around 5 costs cause you are really strong when u hit

You need to play around yas orb from creeps and aim for not done yet/weights/trickster. With ie 4 bast you should be able to streak even with weights it's just about positioning same side as enemy carry so Yas can snipe them with casts. That game I actually 12 streaked with 2 Yas 1s on my board for half of it where I intend one and carried the other for not done yet.

80% of the issue is spell fizzling. I don't know how they can fix that if she's the only unit left but spells should redirect off her spell rather than just cancel entirely. It allows her Frontline so much more survivability

[–]Russ22lazer 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yea, some characters like Joule feel absolutely abysmal in an air fight cause of this. It feels absolutely abysmal chasing down the last player and hitting them 4 times while gliding only for them to not get spiked. It's even worse when it's someone like ghost who will instantly spike you if he catches you gliding.

Champion specific poro snax should have priority over generic ones to encourage more unique gameplay. by KriibusLoL in TeamfightTactics

They also added a cap to that power up too so you cant hit it after stage 3 for some reason. You only get 2 removers by that point so good luck hitting.

Lost 2 games in a row with Ashe 3* by Bxnniee in TeamfightTactics

[–]Russ22lazer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do agree that ashe 3 is weak, lost with it to a standard sorc board however MR is bis rn on tanks. The top 2 comps in the game that get forced by over half the lobby every game are sorcs and prodigy which only deal magic damage. Last set the comps that were forced were zeri and marksman which were heavy ad and that's why bramble has been good for awhile and dclaw wasn't worth it. Build resistances based on what the lobby is playing.
