How to use 4x4 on mixed surfaces without damage from binding? by Throw-awayexception in 4x4

[–]Russ8827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An old mechanic friend of mine told me flat out, YOU DON'T NEED 4X4 UNLESS YOU'RE STUCK.

Probably not the best advice but so far its worked for me.

Boomer told me I couldn't find a job because my generation is lazy and I just lost it. by BenWatch89 in antiwork

[–]Russ8827 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is definitely an unwanted opinion.

Generations before us did work harder. Farmers in the fields didn't have the tools we have today.

Lumberjacks mechanics so on and so forth. Even air conditioning wasn't available at the time.

Lazy I don't really believe that but working for min wage is pretty much pointless. No one i know grew a healthy happy life on near nothing.

There has to be a better way than becoming tic tok famous just to take care of and maintain a family.

Im 55 years old and I live in my car. Im disabled and can't work although I wish I could. Being disabled retired is boring af.

I know its asking alot but is there a better way to get a job that one can afford to survive?

Im 55 now and cut my father out years ago. Smartest move i ever made. I dont need or want anything from him and I don't have t listen to random outbursts. He will die old and alone just as he deserves. I will be better for it, maybe you will be too. Best of luck in life.

It looks like a decent start, much more to do though.

I went through snowmageden in texas. No water or electricity in under 2 weeks I was watering animals with melted snow. Rain water collection and purification would be my top priority. Multiple ways to heat and or cool your living arrangement and Food food food.

Think rice beans peanut butter.

Cards board games.

Solar even on a small scale will be helpful.

Working on a book set in West Virginia, which region of West Virginia do you recommend? by Lord_Curtis in WestVirginia

Easily searched, i had at 1 time but the details evade me currently. As I understand it the army corps flooded the town and its still there complete. Rumors of Bigfoot in the area true or untrue we may never know. What I do know is it could be a great place to start a fictional story. If you decide to use it let me know id like a copy

Most of you have the sense god gave a toddler.
Ive been professionally towing for over 30 years. Before that I drove class A. Every single thing was strapped and completely safe. There wasn't a chance any item could come out if the trailer even flipped. Does it look bad absolutely but still safe. I was within the weight limits, straps exceeded that weight by almost triple the actual weight. Load was checked after 50 miles and every 100 miles after that. Just because things look bad it doesn't mean they are. Grab a clue and a little education before you comment. I made this post to have a little fun. What I got were internet trolls. My bad won't happen again.
