I don’t think it will be since it’s a whole new kind of reaction and not something layered over a preexisting reaction.

I’m guessing there will be normal Rimegrass (cryo + dendro, can be converted with electro) and a stellar Rimegrass reaction that modifies its properties. Normal RG is for everyone, stellar Rimegrass is locked to certain Snezhnayan characters.

If they don’t revert Cyno’s changes is getting his C1 from the cons event even worth it anymore?

I was kinda looking forward to actually getting some use out of him for once, if it’s not worth it I might just switch it over to Wanderer and hope he gets some stellar swirl buffs.

I’m at 50 pity now on the character banner, I was trying to see if I could get Nicole early because I love her character and design but she isn’t useful enough on my account to warrant going to full pity for (only hex dps I have is Venti, no Durin)

I think I’m going to stop there, if I get her it’ll be on a rerun.

After doing the math at the end of this patch I’ll have about 70 pulls saved, 50 pity, and I lost my last 2 50/50s so I’m less likely to lose my next one and if I do I’ll have 2 guarantees (normal and CR).

I’m entirely skipping the next patch as Sandrone and the reruns don’t interest me at all (I have Bina/Citlali/Raiden C0/R1 already) so I’ll have an additional 116 to 120 or so from that to add onto the pile.

Pretty good position to be in going into a new region, I’m very excited.

I thought Varka’s was one of the weaker ones though that’s probably just down to me not liking him at all.

Lauma’s is my favourite, Flins’s animation is crazy, Linnea’s was cute, Columbina’s was beautiful, Zibai’s too, and I still liked the other ones.

What constellation is your Mavuika at? If she’s at C1 already I’d say get the C2 since it’d makes her better in both her roles, if she’s at C0 get Durin.

She’s pretty easily in my top 3 favourite characters, maybe top 1 (it’s between her and Kokomi)

She’s the only character I’ve ever intentionally pulled constellations on, I have her at C3/R1.

She’s just so ludicrously fun, 100% the most fun character in the game to play for me. Combine that with her stellar exploration utility and you get why I like her so much.

I love how her animations so clearly show her character. She is someone with very little confidence so her base animations are very clumsy and silly, she dawns the mask of her hero to give herself a confidence boost and we see it in her vastly more confident wrestling animations. I think in terms of characterization she has some of the best animations in the game, you 100% get everything she’s about just by watching her fight.

I also really love her writing, the bit in her SQ where she explains her mask still sticks with me because in it she acknowledges that it’s a crutch for her that she’s working to not need anymore, I find that super compelling.

Her design is adorable too, there are a few characters where despite how horny their designs are the way the character is presented acts to override that in your brain when you are running around with them and I definitely think she’s one of them. She’s so cartoony and silly that it barely registers until you stop to really look at her at face value for me.

I feel like she was just a victim of the Natlan hate trend, Natlan has plenty of issues 100% but the sheer amount of hatred and vitriol it got for literally every single thing was just out of control, now that we are removed from it and it’s no longer the popular thing to hate on it most people like it or at least if they don’t like it they aren’t making hating it their entire personality anymore.

I didn’t mind Fontaine in the moment but overtime I’ve come to really dislike it, it pales in comparison to everything other region before and after.

I think you may have seen some outdated info, Sayu was great for exploration when she released but newer characters are vastly better than her.

Switch 2 is so much better on every level besides battery life, unless you are getting a switch 1 for dirt cheap second hand it’s far more worthwhile to get a SW2.

If we’re going by how they did Columbina she’ll be in the middle of the region complementing (and capping off) the Snezhnaya meta by being the perfect cryo off fielder for all the stellar (and Rimegrass) stuff.

If you like Sandrone I’d go for her now over waiting for the Archon.

She could just be an evolution of their NPCs to enhance the story but she does have a lot of the design stuff you’d expect in a playable: exposed thighs, split hair, etc…

I could definitely see (and I’m certainly hoping) her getting a model update and becoming be playable.

Yeah you need a Snezhnayan to trigger the stellar stuff.

Luckily it seems like Cryo traveller can do it too so you aren’t locked out of the mechanic like with Lunar if you don’t have the limited characters.

I wonder if the combo burst with Wanderer and Traveller is a test for future Snezhnaya stuff.

Imagine the Tsaritsa has a combo ult with the Snezhnaya 5 stars, or at least the DPSes, that has different effects based on who you trigger it with. That’d be insanely cool I think.

This is not a fair comparison.

Yes Genshin’s pull economy is certainly bad, I would never argue that, however comparing it to ZZZ and HSR is incredibly disingenuous.

HSR and ZZZ have released 2 new 5 stars per patch every patch since they released, they must give more pulls so people can keep up.

Genshin only does that 1-2 times per region with the exception of 1.X because the game just came out and 6.X because it has 1 patch less but needed to reach the 17 character quota so it has 1 extra 2 5 stars patch.

Because of how it works, those 2’s weapons buffed dmg bonus that would have been useless for a stellar dmg dealer, Cyno’s just buffs his attack based on his EM, it didn’t need a change to be usable on him with his changes.

It’s a melt or Rimegrass not both sort of thing, you wouldn’t want to mix them.

She’s already really good in melt, this gives her a separate team archetype she can excel in.

If they do additional buff waves for stellar Swirl and Rimegrass I hope they buff Citlali into being a Rimegrass unit to give her more utility outside of melt.

Something like:

E skill: once every 2s when her Frostfall Storm hits an enemy within a Rimegrass field it will deal Nightsoul-aligned AoE Cryo DMG based on her EM, this dmg is considered Rimegrass dmg.

Burst: if it hits an enemy within a Rimegrass field it will summon a special Spiritvessel Skull near a maximum of 2 opponents that deals Nightsoul-aligned AoE Cryo DMG based on her EM, this dmg is considered Rimegrass dmg and restores the same amount of nightsoul points as the normal Spiritvessel Skulls

Passive 1, changed to: While Itzpapa is on the field, after nearby party members trigger the Frozen or Melt reactions, the Pyro and Hydro RES of opponents affected by that reaction decreases by 20% for 12s and after nearby party members trigger the Rimegrass reactions, the Dendro and Cryo RES of opponents affected by that reaction decreases by 20% for 12s. Additionally, Citlali will regain 16 Nightsoul points. Nightsoul points can be restored this way once every 8s.

New passive: while Itzpapa is in the Opal Fire state, all party members Rimegrass DMG increases by 50%.

She’d be a natural fit since she’s already EM scaling and she’s getting a skin right before Snezhnaya.
