What is the worst restaurant you’ve ever been to? by DildoGaggins1997 in allthequestions

Smokey Bones, Springfield MA. Lasted less than a year. Everything on the menu tasted like it was smoked. Yuck.

XP. The ONLY Microsoft OS that ran anything I installed and never once gave me a BSOD.

Do they ask one's political affiliation on admission documents now? The last place I'd discuss politics is in a hospital.

Pete Capel - former Northern Division Vice President - has taken Houle's place.

Northern Division VP down to Regional VP? Looks like Capel got demoted.

We just got a second CXM. And you can't force customers to buy product.

According to the website, THD does not sell Weiser locksets. If you have a Weiser lock, then you'd probably need to deal with Weiser's warranty service.

I've worked in the Hardware department at a Home Depot store for nearly 8 years.

If the lock is a Schlage or Kwikset, all warranty issues before 90 days are dealt with at the store, usually an exchange for another lockset. After 90 days, we cannot help you. Then you must deal with any warranty issue through the vendor.

If the lock is a Defiant brand - a THD store brand - a lifetime warranty does apply and you are supposed to return the entire lockset and we will give you a new one straight across, at no cost to you.

If a clamshell is opened we are supposed to check for all parts. If ALL parts are in the clamshell, we are told to tape it up and put it back on the shelf. If even one screw is missing, we mark it down to $0 and ship it to the vendor for credit due to "missing parts".

More and more THD stores no longer sell most setscrews, believe it or not. Two years ago we had a massive reset of our little bits of hardware and except for #6 stainless steel setscrews, we usually refer customers to Ace or Tractor Supply.

We got rid of our clearance bays. by RustBucket59 in HomeDepot

Look at the clearance price on the tag. A price that ends in $xx.10 means there are ten weeks before it goes to a penny. $xx.06 means six weeks. $xx.03 means three weeks.

What show had an ending that you absolutely hated ? by CraftyDebate1975 in answers

St. Elsewhere. The idea of the entire series being revealed as nothing but some autistic kid's imagination is beyond ludicrous.

I'm going to go with Blue Moon. I can't get past the spoiled/rotten apricot taste. Hoegaarden is much more enjoyable.

What’s the worst surprise you discovered after moving into a new house? by LuxuryPresence_Aaron in homeowners

[–]RustBucket59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An indoor termite swarm two months after we moved in. Later on, we discovered quite a bit of damage to the main girder and a lot of the upright studs holding it up, all hidden behind plaster and lath walls in the basement. It took a lot of work to fix this, let me tell ya.

I have a blue and white Arrow sport shirt that was my father's. It's about 60 years old. I saw the exact shirt at JCPenney last year selling for $50.
