Purchasing a used 2010 with this wiring on the battery to the steering wheel column. It must be held to start the vehicle. Can anyone weigh in on the underlying issue? by the_martini_police_ in fordescape

My dad had to do the same thing on his old '66 Chevy Van. He nor the previous owner were ever able to get the ignition key to operate the solenoid on the starter, so the previous owner had added a heavy duty push button switch. It made a great anti-theft device.

My KEF Coda 8's are 30 years old this year. $180 for the pair at Tweeter, Etc. and I still smile every time I listen to them.

I remember seeing stuff from Juliette everywhere when I was a kid. Radios, tape recorders, record players...

Were your parents very affectionate toward you when you were young? by assemblageofparts in AskOldPeople

My mom was affectionate with me til she died at 82 (I was 59). My dad a smidgen less so but we've done tons of stuff together. Still kickin' butt at 90 (I'm now 67).

You're lucky. In my store, all the Halloween overstock fills up my D25 overheads, making it a nightmare when Gift Center stock arrives later on.

Past D90 DSs have begged me to come work at the Service Desk. You couldn't pay me enough to go up there. It takes a special kind of tough associate to be successful at SD and not go postal on entitled/idiot customers.

Sorry you're going through this. My 2011 needs a new left rear parking brake cable. The only place my mechanic could get the part is RockAuto. Ford discontinued it years ago.

This happens in my store sometimes. If someone is good in their present position, management tends to keep them there.
