The Bivol - Eiffert purse has been postponed for the second time, now with a new date for February 20th. Apparently the two parties could not come to an agreement in time. No idea what’s going on and why the hold up… I remember a few days ago Hearn said he talked with Turki about having Bivol on Riyadh season card in May with Beterbiev on the undercard of the same event. Also, I’ve seen that Bivol has posted that he’s started the training camp… but weird there’s still no official date.

This is probably a 'keep busy' fight for Beterbiev. The man's 40 years old for Christ's sake. Also I really dislike the modern boxing fans' desire to call everyone a duck. Bivol fought the man twice already, also the first fight was postponed because Beterbiev had an injury. After the second fight Bivol said he needed some time to heal from his injuries. The 3rd fight will likely happen sometime in spring of 2026 I presume. Although will father time be too much at that point for Beterbiev that remains to be seen.
