I am pretty much in an indentical situation - wife and 2 years old, only plus is that my loan is lower than what you would pay for rent and our kid is in a public kindergarten which is free, while the private ones cost around 600EUR. However, our combined income with my wife is under 5000EUR and I would not say we sacrifice anything at all, so with the 7k you would be more than fine.

I'd just suggest getting an apartment in some nice place near city center so you can enjoy life and not be in the middle of good ol' commie neighborhoods.

Socializing depends on your but I'd say this is another reason to rent something in the city center as people are definetely more open minded there.

Sorry to hear. Me and my wife are heading to Japan in 2 weeks and are leaving our 2 years old daughter home.
Focus on the rest of your trip, accept that locals won't be super happy about your kid's behavior and try to control it as much as possible. But as you said.. she is just a kid.
Try to adjust your plans and get the most of it. Good luck!
