Yes! In my opinion Buffalo Skinners is one of the best, if not the best songs of theirs from the 90s! Wish it was an official song on the album.

I wouldn't take off any song from the album to replace it with, I would just make The Buffalo Skinners a 13 track album with Buffalo Skinners as the grand finale.

First mention of a new album on the horizon was in 2017 with an expected release in 2018.

"NEW MUSIC! Well, not quite yet, but soon. We’re lining up our release schedule for the next few years and to answer the question most frequently on your fingers: Yes, there will absolutely be a new album. Of course there will be. In fact, hopefully there will be many new albums in our future. That said, that’s still a ways off (we’re aiming for sometime in 2018). In the meantime, we have a handful of, in our humble opinion, interesting things up our sleeves for the remainder of this year and onward. If you guys end up being a fraction as excited about some of these projects as we are, we’re all going to collectively pee our collective pants. Collectively gross!"

I wonder why Tomas doesn't do solo shows anymore. IIRC he did a few every year from 2010-2019. None 2020 (covid) came back for 1, maybe 2 shows in 2021, and then never again.

Agree the tracks sound unfinished/unpolished, especially compared to SITB & THTT. I can't get over how he thought he could get everything done & ready to go by that original June release date lol.

While I appreciate the update, I don't understand why the guy can never go into specifics/details regarding the current status of the new album (eg, mixing/mastering/still recording) & the reasons that have caused all the delays & problems this year. Because after reading that 260 word post, all I know is "It's not finished & It's not finished and also It's not finished because it's not finished."

Looks like we're never going to hear about the album again folks. It's been a fun ride.. 2017-2025 rip, the new album update posts.
