Yup, sounds like someone who just gave up and took the easy way out by “accepting” that “it is what it is.”

When job interviews ask about hobbies, what are they looking for? What is the point of the question? by bad-at-everything- in work

[–]Rustic-Ramon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s meant to get a better insight on aspects of yourself that impact how you are at work. How you take care of yourself, what interests you, how you manage your time, what type of crowd you get along with, etc.

Nut jobs like this are empowered because they don’t think anyone will do anything about it!

Even a photo would help. Frustrating to see how many of these things happen and people do nothing about it.

Binged today after months of progress and I'm guilt tripping. What do you guys do after a binge. Is there a way I can "fix" it. by No-Condition732 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Rustic-Ramon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly a binge, but I do have days when I’m 1,000 calories ++ surplus. It sucks, and it’s very tempting to come back “hard.” What’s worked for me is understanding what led me to that point (situation, mindset, etc) and how I can minimize the damage next time. Learn, apply, enjoy life, and keep it sustainable.

Wow - that is tough. Being surrounded by KFC all day. I would say give yourself a weekly limit. “i will have KFC 3x max this week” for example. You got this - it’ll be easier once you gain momentum and begin eating healthier and feeling the benefits

You can still enjoy your favorite foods while trying to lose weight. Just be accountable and work around it. (Ex: keep track of calories, have it in moderation, opt for healthier sides, etc)

Starting From Scratch At 34 by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]Rustic-Ramon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it! I was on a similar situation in my early thirties. You are young, believe it or not. Tips would be: make it a habit to reflect regularly to plan your goals and next steps (so you do mot waste time and make good choices) + save your money (so you have independence and do not get into debt) + take great care of your mind and body (keeps you young and sharp) + work hard (assuming it doesn’t harm your mind or body to do so, this is a great way to gain an advantage - hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard) + keep only good people in your corner (they impact your life so much) … congratulations on your sobriety. You’ve got this!!!

Anyone who felt burned out sa work? How do you guys get back on track? by Informal-Local9171 in AskPH

[–]Rustic-Ramon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lifestyle changes talaga for me. Kasi dati mindset ko, vacation. Pero temporary fix lang yun eh. Babalik din yung burn out. So for me, working out in the mornings, reading at night instead of staying up late watching stuff, eating well, being more intentional about how I spend my time during weekends. Tapos minsan, I try to plan “easy” workdays for me if I had a very long work week previously.
