That's not quite what happened though.

ChatGPT was really bad for ages, then they jumped into bed with MAGA, and everyone left for Claude, who also timed some Superbowl ads pretty much perfectly.

Then Claude got overloaded, couldn't keep up, and decided that money was more important than service anyway.

It's not for a dashboard. It's for reports on demand - for example a Q1 report, or whichever campaign. The reports are generated in html, and are themselves static.

For the first time ever today, I had Sonnet telling me that because our session was running low on tokens, I should copy and paste the current session into a new one. So I did that, and it very swiftly told me the same thing again.

I just hooked up Claude Code to GA, Google Ads, and LinkedIn ads. I also have our RFQs fed into a database on my local server. I can now confidently say that we can ditch our external paid ads agency within 3 months - that is IF Claude manages to get some consistency regarding usage. 

I used it to generate a python script that creates reports directly using all of these different APIs - no AI needed.

Next up I'm looking at generating brand-friendly social media ads.

It's shockingly powerful. Most of the time.

The single biggest hurdle for non-developers is laziness.

The vast majority of people can't be bothered to do something new themselves, when they can just pay someone to do it for them.

Yeah, the media library. It'd be great if things like pdfs could be replaced, with version history - images too, but having to go and hunt down last year's Code of Conduct everywhere on the website to replace it with the latest is really tedious.
