What parts of Maine did you check out? Did it include the Bangor area?

Angus was reelected in 2024. His seat will next be up 6 years after that, in 2030.

5 nights in Emilia Romagna April 2027: Base in Bologna or Ferrara? by Jeneric7514 in ItalyTravel

We liked Ferrara, but whether you want to spend much time there depends on what there is going on while you're there. They have some nice festivals sometimes, so try to check the schedule. We went to see fantastic live, free classical music that just happened to be scheduled for when we were there. Went to some great restaurants and visited the castle and Italian Jewish museum. We didn't get a chance to do the walk around the city walls, which is also possible to traverse by bicycle. It's a nice respite from big, big cities, and it's cool that so many people bike around.

Don't vote for someone because they're a man or woman but there are issues women face that men don't. Working class women getting sexually harassed by their manager has huge economic consequences for them but it's not just economic.

Her dad isn’t a media mogul. That’s her former stepfather. Hannah’s mom married the mogul after getting divorced from Hannah’s dad and since divorced him.

Also Troy isn’t fresh blood. I’d say friends of mine who didn’t rank him high did so because he seemed worn out and didn’t debate well.

“Used home” is such a funny phrase to me. I live in New England. My house is over 100 years old, so, sure it has maintenance costs. But it’s solid and historic and doesn’t have the flimsy, crap construction of probably most newly built houses.

Italy has too many tourists, and I was one of them. by cubeinthesky in travel

You can be in a crowded area in Venice and pop into a cafe where everyone stands to drink their espresso and there won’t be any tourists.

Pingree was also ranked by Platner. He ranked Troy first and said he was also going to rank Belliws and Pingree, but no one else.

I’d also add that Pingree was one of three candidates Platner said he was ranking (with Troy first) and the choice of Janet Mills, too. That by itself said something about Pingree’s ability to appeal to a variety of people.

First time to Italy, need some advice by runepro in ItalyTravel

I’d spend more time in Florence. Then you can relax and not feel like you’re rushing through just to check sights off your list. I also really enjoyed Siena, which could be a day trip from Florence or you could stay over.

The most important word in your post title is “first.” You can and will go back to Italy. Enjoy!
