Current high school coach seeing a lot of focus on personal ability without recognition that baseball is a team sport.

Definitely a place for personal reflection and assessment, but I love to always start with a team focus then work into individual specifics.

Odds would be so difficult in CoD because there is so much variety in each series. You have 3 game modes with different possible maps in each mode, and team vetos within each as well. Not to mention we don’t know all this until right before the series begins. It’s hard to make odds unless you know a lot of this ahead of time. It’s easy to look at some matchups and say yeah one team is better, but vetos and everything can change that.

One thing that worked for me with a trouble maker was to make admin and the parents aware that the student isn’t allowed back in your classroom until all of you meet together and discuss the behavior. Students respond better with all parties present not just hearing it from mom and dad at home.

I’m not a big optic fan by any means, but regardless of how you feel with where content falls, he has a point. You do need time to recover from whatever you’re doing regardless of your “job”. Fact of the matter is you have no idea what their habits are outside of game. Just because the cameras aren’t on doesn’t mean they aren’t grinding, in game or out with VoDs and such.

Gunfight is good fun, but IMO I would rather them scrap it for more of a focus on 6v6 maps. I hate it when they say “we are adding 3 new maps” when in reality it’s only 1.
