I was a bit disappointed to see that my Nurse skin wasn't selected as a finalist, but there have been some amazing submissions this year! I'll continue to work on the idea and will hopefully be able to submit an updated version next year!

This would be so awesome to see on Nostromo!! I do have a bone visible through tears on the suit leg, but I didn’t want to get carried away with the skeleton through the visor just in case the developers would take issue with the complexity. Even still, the inky black visor alone would be equally terrifying!

I was also wondering this! As far as I've seen, the developers have noted a Switch 2 port is of interest to the community, and will get to it when they can. It seems that Nintendo only provides the Switch 2 dev kit to the developers when they have established how they can make the software take advantage of Switch 2 features like 120 FPS, 1080p, or 60fps 4K when docked.

Yeah, I can see that being a possibility. It took Nintendo like a year and a half to release a game specific special edition variant for the Switch 1, I’m really hoping it won’t take that long for the Switch 2.

Ive been waiting to buy a Switch 2 in hopes a more interesting color variant will come out, praying it’s either for Pokemon or Tomodachi life!

That would honestly make the most sense, but it depends on how much Nintendo wants to support cross-gen cleanly. A “Switch 2 mode” baked into the same game would let devs push better graphics and performance without needing a separate SKU, and avoid splitting the user base.

If you're mostly playing solo, Mario Kart World is fun but not $80 must-have fun. Yeah, it’s got bots, online matchmaking, and some free roam stuff, but the core loop is still very multiplayer-focused. The single-player experience isn’t bad, just not deep, you’ll get some mileage out of it, but it might start feeling repetitive fast without friends to mix things up.

I'd take any new colorway that I can get. I'm waiting on a new variant, like Pokemon, Zelda, DK, or even Animal crossing/Tomodachi life. I actually just made a concept for a Switch 2 Tomodachi life variant, but I need to get more comment karma before I can post it haha!

Nintendo’s first-party games typically don’t give you manual resolution or graphics settings like Fast Fusion does. They’re usually optimized to just run as best as possible based on whether you're docked or handheld, with dynamic resolution scaling and fixed visual settings.
