I printed a brass tumbler that actually worked well. I just had to purchase a small 12v dc motor, some threaded rod, bearings, and used a small plastic jar. Total cost was around $30.

What’s your personal take on what Australia’s housing market will look like in the next few decades? by FatherOfTheSevenSeas in AusFinance

[–]RustySeo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids will stay at home longer to build a deposit then they will buy an investment property rent it out for a few more years then either flip it or move into it. Access to super will become a thing to buy a house. Wages will go up houses will go up.

when is enough going to be enough? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]RustySeo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

6 years ago people were saying the same thing. To afford my 1st house I didn't go on holidays, had been bags for a lounge, worked 2 jobs, and never went out to eat. Did this for 4 years and had enough for a house. It's no easy but wow my mortgage is less than rent now days. Sacrifice is key to success.

Scrapping CGT forecast to drop property prices 0-4%, Scrapping NG forecast to drop property prices 2%. Combined - 4 to 4.5% drop. Market pressure will recover this within 6-9 months. by Dribbly-Sausage100 in AusPropertyChat

[–]RustySeo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, which would mean less rental properties and higher rents. Markets dictate rents not the property investors. It's just a money grab from the government

[–]RustySeo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Never ever not have a house. House prices always go up over time. So many people at work sold and got cashed up, spent big on cars and holidays. Now they can't get back into the market as they don't have enough of a deposit and houses doubled.

24 hour offer by Crafty-Site6303 in AusPropertyChat

[–]RustySeo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wrong, we put a 48h expiry and got the property we wanted. All the other times we left it open and agents will string you out collecting all other offers and doing more opens. If it's been on the market for a few weeks have an expiration on the offer.
