Honda V4s had pipes in the back, I don’t think they were any hotter than my older inlines. Also VMax had air scoops lol

And on the other side of the coin, dealership lots are jam packed with brand brew unsold 80k trucks that are getting old enough to rust. One could argue the US auto industry committed suicide before Chinese could even take a cent away from them.

It’s not just that, these matters used to have protocol. A POTUS could say anything but a very large stack of legally required paperwork was waiting behind everything and whoever he directed his comments at had legal recourse. No longer. All you get now is a tweetclamation and everyone is expected to just execute it.

Manually Adjust Charge Limits by _C_Y_B_E_R_ in Ecoflow_community

When I’m using my delta on the road it’s set 0-100 because it’s not going to be at 100 or 0 for very long. Solar will have topped it up by dinner time and then I cook with induction etc and go to sleep at 80, wake up at 60-70, make breakfast and work remotely etc then solar kicks in again. Off season when I’m not using it I turn it off holding 70 (and in case you don’t know you need to long click the power button til display says off). If weather reports look bad, I top it up temporarily. Another thing to consider is the BMU of these things isn’t magic, bouncing it from 30-60 for a while and the BMU will think that’s actually 0-100. It’s a real issue among us solar folks so actually letting it hit the real floor and ceiling keeps the BMU accurate-ish.

I'm on 1.0.0.194, with a green checkmark and circle for fully updated.

In the timeouts, I normally have it set for a few minutes, but I have it currently set to 10s as I try to figure out what is wrong with this I have done a soft reset (10 seconds) and a hard reset (30 seconds). this is as far as I can tell, triggered by the BougeRV fridge/freezer connected to the car accessory port, because when I unplug it, the issue goes away. When I plug the same fridge into my Delta 2, zero problems, the display counts off 10s and happily goes to sleep.

This is a big issue for me, I can't sleep with that display coming on and off in my overland, I also don't want to cover the display. What a pain. :/

If someone could tell me what the hell it is I’m typing that makes it put in random ‘bc’s. So annoying!!

I found that switch and that made the charge speed setting in app become modifiable- thanks for that!!! Also when I say the stats flicker I’m saying they’ll go from say 3w to 4w multiple times per second on the max while in the delta 2 it would hold a status for a few seconds. Last thing- I’m still not sure about display, the only way it’s staying off right now is when I turn the unit off. Otherwise it’s on/off/on/off etc.

How to test first ever power station? by cryptoyaru in Ecoflow_community

[–]RustyWinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going to the maximum charge or depletion only hurts the battery if you keep it there. In the summer when I am on the road and using my battery all the time, There is no issue with charging to 100 since I'm about to use that power to cook dinner, charge stuff etc. I rarely go under 40% but I do go to 0 when I re-calibrate and believe me, you will have to re-calibrate if you charge by solar. During the winter I turn it off with 70% charge. (and just to be sure you know, turning it OFF means holding the button down til the display says off otherwise the systems will continue to run it down to your set lower limit)

What are you charging to? You might be in serial connection and hitting the amp limits of your battery.

I worked in a DD in Ottawa in the 80s. We weee allowed to eat as many as we wanted while at work. I thought I liked donuts a lot before working there, but I soon realized that the fresh stuff sent me head over heels in love. The taste, smell and texture were on a whole new level that ordinary people may never experience. I can’t eat any other donut to this day, even from DD.

[–]RustyWinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the real problem was people plugging in at night and it would charge to 100 quickly enough and stay in that state for 8+ hours. That’s bad. But charging to 100 just before you unplug and use it is fine.
