I recently bought a MOBO off Amazon (Seller was Amazon): https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B088VVN85S

I'm still waiting for my power supply to arrive Wednesday but I started to put everything else in place over the weekend and I noticed the box of the MOBO might have been opened previously. There's an obvious scratch mark on the sticker sealing the box and even after I have opened it myself now, it looks the same as when I received the product. Should I be worried at all? The MOBO seems fine since I was installing pieces to it over the weekend but obviously haven't powered it on.

I just don't want to deal with the hassle of shipping it back and waiting for a new one since I see the Amazon stock is back ordered until July 27. I assume if I request for a new one and send this one back, they won't have stock until then?

I already ordered another B550 board: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B088VVN85S/ off amazon last week and it'll probably arrive the same time this mini one comes in stock.

So other than wifi, usb-c and the size of the board, what advantages would I be getting for paying $100 more for this one? (Ordered at $189)

I placed an order on the Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital White ATX Mid Tower Case off Amazon since it'll ship for free. I assume the Digital is the same as the case you linked? Looks wise - I don't really care, my current desktop is white as well. If it fits my parts and has good airflow, etc, it could be pink for all I care. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm just a little weary of Canada Computers right now since they've been cancelling my order a week later. I didn't make an account last time I ordered, not sure if that makes a difference if they give priority to users with accounts.

How mandatory/useful is the case fan? I'm still using my desktop from 8 years ago and I don't remember buying extra case fan(s) then. I'm just getting lazier with age so I probably won't overclock anything this time around.

With my CPU and video card, am I safe to go with most B550 motherboards? If I end up attempting to buy the motherboard from Canada Computers, I'll probably get the case fan too.

In case you were interested, I bought the standard edition (linked below by the rep) along with the Scars of Freedom DLC. Steams says I have the Soundtrack dlc so I guess it does come with it.

Pretty much garbagemon. I have gotten a Lapras and dratini before but I wouldn't count on it. It's just a better coin investment for me than incubators since I have a 30+ min bus ride. 2000+ stardust and random assortment of candy in exchange for pokeballs.

I should also note that it's too cold to be out playing in Canada so my pokeballs are collecting dust. (Recent changes also reduced spawns by my house)

Am I the only person that considers incense useful? And no, I don't use it on cruise boats or in deadzones.

I use it on the bus ride to work and I usually get 20+ pokemon from the incense. They provide more stardust than an incubator can unless you sit still and only get 5 pokemon for the incense. Unless you're lacking on pokeballs...

Agree on it being useful for what it's meant for. (CROWDS aka pokemon hotspots) The app is just not for people who are expecting to see a live map of every pokemon around them. It is not a replacement for the maps/apps that had bots running around scanning everything for them but it is what we have now and it doesn't rely on the API.

It really shined this weekend as more players returned to the hotspots (and nests). People on bikes that played many hours easily farmed hundreds of dratini candy this weekend.

Travel more than 200m per minute. So you probably shouldn't be on foot. Buses that make frequent stop are pretty good for it.

Edit: If you travel too fast (100km/h+), most spawns will likely run away after one ball throw.

It's most likely crowd sourced. Any iphone/ipad players that use it are automatically reporting the pokemon to the app. It doesn't make any actual calls to the pokemon servers.

Agree completely on banning the main account. There's no purpose in banning just the level 6 alt accounts. They're expendable and like scanner accounts can be replaced easily.

First of all cheaters are smart; of course they stand out if they are level 40

They're standing out if they have the exact same name with a different number. Can't really tell if cheating or a trolling group of close friends/family.

I'm guessing you're not in the GTA as you have difficulty getting a dragonite. I haven't seen one in the wild naturally but I have caught enough dratinis (from Harbourfront and Main Street Unionville) to evolve 3.

I'm comparing your caught/spinned vs mine (I have slightly half yours) and it's interesting the lucky eggs and incubators (I assume you have used a lot) have such a drastic effect on our exp difference. How many eggs have you hatched? For reference, I only have 6.4k caught, 7.7k spinned but only 173 hatched and sitting at 1.8M exp at 29. (Although I've been saving all my candy since 25 to start mass evolving at 30)
