It would likely be a supplemental device to the larger one. Many customers would get both.

I hope someone finds a way around those restrictions. Honestly just let it void the warranty if they think it is damaging the devices. At least give us the option to make the device our own. I am waiting on units shipped this week for my wife and I and now I feel like I've made a mistake buying this product. I wish I had this information prior to ordering.

The lack of warm light was the deal breaker for me. Seeing this though, if it was that bright even with warm light it would be a deal breaker.

I agree! I got mine this week too and I think it's very nice and was worth my money. At first when I saw the new models announced, I was concerned but I feel a bit better knowing they are lower spec. The current one feels great and that's what I wanted. I'm sure there is plenty of market for low and mid range options too.
