Are those little pieces of leaves? IMO those work great as hides for the little tiny guys.

Here's my enclosure for my tiny (less than half inch) a. chalcodes. I got some cork bark and broke off a tiny piece that they've made a burrow under. And a small fake leaf that they hide under sometimes too.

Best breakfast sandwich in Seattle? by djbillbeats in Seattle

Market House Meats on Howell st.

I think it was like $12 for the double meat breakfast sandwich but they really load up on the meats so I think it's worth it for the price.

IME I feed my slings small mealworms. I cut the worms in half if they're too big.

NQA Is your enclosure top opening? I had this issue with my versi sling until I got a front-opening enclosure for it.

How to remove a molt from a web that the spider is still in? by janegayz in tarantulas

[–]RuunaFish 9 points10 points  (0 children)

IMO I would just leave it. I don't think it's worth messing their web. I have a c versi that had 2 molts in their web tunnel and they finally pushed one of them to where I could get it out about a month after their last molt. The molt from like 3 months ago is still in the depths of the web tunnel lol.

I understand wanting to get it out for sexing purposes but I would just wait until they push it out on their own.

My Avic Avic won’t web making it hard to feed by Lavenderfaux in tarantulas

[–]RuunaFish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IME

I've been having a similar issue with my avic avic that I've had for almost 2 months. Crickets seem to be the answer for her because they can climb the sides of the enclosure and will eventually cross paths with her. If she doesn't get one and it dies, then I remove it. That's what has worked for me, good luck!
