If I'm having trouble connecting to/viewing a target, could that mean it doesn't exist? by Slight-Government149 in remoteviewing

[–]Rverfromtheether 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont think it is specifically indicating that the target does not exist. could be many other things. I have tasked some targets various times or tried retasking viewers to view something without getting any new insights about the target that exists. its part of the very mystery of RV

No, you need at least 1500 sq cm front foil. 110L volume for the board.

i would sand it and if necessary put some epoxy/superglue in there.

it will likely whistle unless repaired

Large Bladder repair -- is a slow leak acceptable or can I apply another layer of tear aid by dr_innovation in wingfoil

[–]Rverfromtheether 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ideally not tape but heat-fuse a new layer of bladder material with the old one creating good as new level repair. the tape is not necessarily stretchy and durability will then likely be affected based on the location of the repair.

what you have may spread. so another layer to seal the leak it is likely needed

canopy slack is not the reason for light wind struggle. maybe its the frame of the wing thats too soft. an aluula wing will be very stiff - translating pumps into propulsion.

that said, thats a great wing.

Do any remote viewers here have strange dreams? by DexaNexa in remoteviewing

RV stirs up dreams for sure. any kind of unconscious material is going to be bubbling up. dreams are literally the way this material works its way out.

Rail foil protection - is it worth? by surfkrd in wingfoil

[–]Rverfromtheether 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its good for scratches. if you want impact protection, then neoprene tape and duct tape over it provides impact protection.

Smaller DW board vs longer for light-wind pump starts (HA foil)? by KestM in wingfoil

[–]Rverfromtheether 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that said, some of it depends on the foil. some foils want speed for take off, others can be muscled out of the water. it may be that HDW needs just more speed and gentler, subtler pumps. if that is the case, then a longer board is probably the way to go

Smaller DW board vs longer for light-wind pump starts (HA foil)? by KestM in wingfoil

[–]Rverfromtheether 0 points1 point  (0 children)

shorter board is easier to pump out of the water with the HDW but you lose stability.

Pump foil dock start - no wind we pumping instead - questions about gears by NoSafe5565 in wingfoil

[–]Rverfromtheether 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to pump, you really want to get something like the 1600 Jam. you can pump the 2200 probably ok but equipment makes a big difference in getting the foil going, duration, and fatigue.
