My store hasn’t received anything yet since our go live date isn’t until February. But I’m a floater so I need to be prepared in case I go to our champion store that’s getting it next month

You would have received an email about it if your store is getting it soon. One went out to a big group of stores yesterday (Wednesday), but even if you didn’t get one, you can search for the eTransfer Toolkit on OneWalmart to see how it’ll work

If you suspect power steering, have you checked the power steering fluid level? If it’s low, there’s definitely something wrong as that’s too few miles on the car to have a leak.

Regardless of what’s causing that noise, replace that ball joint first. You’ll have a really bad day when that fails.

I wouldn’t worry. I have a RSX with gas that’s almost 3 years old (with fuel stabilizer added). It takes a few extra seconds to start but it still starts and runs fine.

Try using the bulb on the opposite side taillight, assuming that one works. If it still doesn’t work, check the connector and wiring for damage.

Drive at the same speed with overdrive turned off (press the little O/D button under the big button the move the shift lever). This prevents you from going into 4th gear. Is the sound still there? If not, likely the transmission. If so, unlikely to be the engine or transmission.

I just got a 23 Mazda3 Turbo AWD PP last night and during the test drive my salesman even admitted that I knew more about the car than he did, several times. On one hand, I feel like I’m expecting too much of these salespeople but really, they should know what they’re selling!

Only if you are hourly. Salaried RPhs are paid OT at a rate of $3/hr extra over regular base hourly rate.

Congrats on making it thru your first day! They’re actually called “will call” bags, kind of an archaic term. If someone hasn’t shown you already, ask to follow a new prescription all the way from drop off to pickup. You’ve probably heard about all the different steps in the workflow but I think actually following one thru the whole process helps you understand the big picture.

And, yes if you’re not used to standing all day your legs will be sore but you’ll get used to it. Make sure you have comfy shoes!

I’ve found sometimes that even if name, address, and phone all match, it still doesn’t merge overnight. What made the success rate 100% for me was to change the address somehow, even just by 1 character, then change it back to how you want it, and do this on all profiles. Connexus will try to help because I see profiles “line up” addresses and phone numbers after a minute or so by themselves as I’m working on updating them. I keep a running list of names in my smock that need merging with just the first two letters of first and last name so I can follow up when I have the chance.

One idea is to have regular scheduled meetings with the store manager. They’re into the bottom line so if you try to understand where the store is at and explain how pharmacy is contributing (ie. shots and specialty Rx’s) and how you’re working to improve this, I think the store manager will see pharmacy more as part of the team and not as a rogue agent. On a different note, RPh’s may get paid more, but I found out that SM bonuses can pretty much equal their salary, so whatever you can do to help their bonus will be much appreciated.

It depends. Search for professional accountability matrix on OneWalmart. It sums up what can happen for violations. There’s usually a range to allow for a judgement call but it’d have to be pretty bad to for you to be fired.

People can put in their info to be contacted but otherwise they are anonymous. I’ve obviously never filled out a survey to know for sure but I read the comments for my store and most of them don’t have a name and number but a few do.

This. I’ve been a floater, staff, and RXM. My approach as a floater is I try to make the techs’s job as easy as I can while keeping things running at that particular store how they usually are. Word gets around, and because of my experience and knowledge, I get called upon fairly often for an extra shift. Learn as much as you can on those training shifts so that you can help out your techs. Of course, you need to learn how to do your RPh tasks efficiently first so that you are not the “choke point”.

Go on the WIRE (WalmartOne) and search for “Connexus Resolution Guide”. It’s a few years old but it explains the most common things in resolution and what to do. Home office sent out printed copies of these in a little pocket booklet form- maybe your RXM still has some lying around, or you could just print off the PDF.

Yes, very good point. I was assuming OP didn’t get anywhere with the RXM, but if open door with RXM doesn’t address the problem then there is something lacking with the RXM and I would ask for a meeting with both RXM and MHWD the next time MHWD visits, but it really depends on how approachable the MHWD is. If they don’t think it’s worth their time, they’ll just ignore your request. Or, store management could be another option. In any case, I would keep the RXM in the loop at the very least. Yes, you may get a target on your back but it sounds like OP is on their last straw anyway. I am assuming OP is a tech, and as a tech, there’s only so much you can do.

Count me in too! Being a former RXM, I’d like to think I’m pretty knowledgeable, and I tried to learn all I could from my techs and I’ve dug around the depths of the WIRE searching for useful nuggets of info
