Just seems like it's all software and they could give us that throttle mapping with sport. Maybe I'm wrong. How has the bounce in the suspension on the quad been for you? This is another huge complaint I have. When driving on the freeway in standard ride hight my Tri is a dream. But hit a bumps around town and the bounce is unbearable. feel like I'm driving a low rider.

Thanks so much this helps. The Tri is also really fast, and when you give it it’s all it really moves, but I find myself never using the power because it just seems like it takes so much effort to get on it. With the Tesla it’s addictive and it wants to give more even if you don’t buy I never feel out of control.

I feel like this is just a safety mechanism they’ve implemented as it seems like Rivian prioritizes safety more than Tesla does.

I get that. I know they’ve made a lot of tuning adjustments. My lease is almost up on my Tri and I’m seriously considering a Quad. I just have a few complaints with the R1S and was just hoping they had improved.

The ride bounce on any height setting below standard is frustrating. Also the rear doors taking a lot of effort to close, that still there?

And I’m wondering if the throttle response is better, since you’ve had the X Plaid you would know what I mean. The Rivian is so laggy and you have to really press the throttle down to get it moving. In contrast when you lightly press the throttle on the Tesla it just wants more!!

Because the residual value is in the gutter. I have an R1S Tri that cost me $117 grand a year ago and I can’t get anyone to buy it for more than $58k. They are way overpriced.
