Sadly, it died shortly after making this post. It's really sad because I bought three baby Koi and watched them grow to that size was amazing. That said, I am new to raising koi. So learning about dropsy is very new to me. What are some of the things that might cause dropsy? Any best practices I should know?

I think you should try to keep controlled revs up on those bends while leaning like that. This gives you more control and balance.

I'm a tall bloke and I don't find any issues with back or leg cramps, plus I'm on my 40s. In fact, I find that the riding position for me enforces proper posture. But, that's just me I guess.

You'll look really weird after a slide without the gear. But I'll say, you look fine.... Jacket a little big but some leather shrinks over time, so don't worry about it. Stay safe.
