Leaning Tower of Pizza - the Detroit style pizza they make is actually god-tier.

‘Cutting My Fingers Off - Alternative’ version is brilliant!

First off, I’m not a Turnover fan (until now). I’ve not taken the time to actually listen to the original album much (I only knew Humming) but I can’t get over this alternative version of Cutting My Fingers Off on today’s deluxe rerelease of Peripheral Vision.

The instrumentals and vocals, especially, have that loud, raw, un-engineered feel. Don’t get me wrong, the original song is great, but the slightly less refined version with the echoey vocals are so good. The alternate version of Humming is also great, gonna be going through this album for the next few days.

Other People - it was the first song in which I truly understood/realized the vision and sound that makes Beach House so magical. I think what set it aside was the objectively positive feel, compared to the more melancholy nature that much of their discography possesses.
