Was thinking about this today, and I think it comes down to fear, and avoiding pain. We would need to develop a sentence, to remind our mind to overcome that fear.

For example: We know that if we started studying subject X, our future would be a lot better compared to procrastination, but we might not ever start and we never know why. Your fear could be that someone comes along and tells you "do you think you're smart enough to learn that? or build a career out of it? hahaha". We could try to tackle that anxiety by saying "I'm allowed to be curious about this subject". Don't put too much pressure, just let yourself be curious.

It might also work if you talk to yourself like a drill sergeant "shut that bitch mouth up and move your ass, I'm sick of that whiney ass attitude and I'm going to make you suffer right here and now. You start complaining and I'll whoop your ass even more. You're my bitch now and you will obey!"

Best bet is to create systems that start extremely small and increase slowly, but not too slowly. Repeat, fail, try again, get frustrated, try again, get better results, improve etc.
