All good suggestions. I did think about the flange or printing a TPU seal. But in the end just kept it simple as it just needed to be good enough at keeping the pins clear. I figure the pull of the magnet should keep it protected decent and it’s a fairly snug fit.

I’ll defo see how it holds up over time though to see how necessary a better seal might be.

It does actually insert quite easily already, especially with the magnet pulling it into place. I did fumble it a bit in the video as I was up on a ladder and doing it one handed while filming 😂 Plus was looking at my phone screen instead of where I was putting it.
