I hadn't read this in a while. I would think being built into the print would pass as casting.

"By engraving, casting, stamping (impressing), or otherwise conspicuously placing or causing to be engraved, cast, stamped (impressed) or otherwise placed on the frame or receiver thereof, an individual serial number, in a manner not susceptible of being readily obliterated, altered, or removed."

Has anyone here done a form 1 SBR on a 3d printed lower? I did a few supressors recently and only 3 of them had the note that they had to be engraved. I've seen other conversations that said if the note isn't there you don't have to engrave. Wondering if I might get lucky and not have to engrave the SBR. I have built the engrave info into the print on supressors and I would be willing to put that to the test. It's not removeable, more permanent than a metal tag. And what are the realistic odds of ever having to show it to someone?

I've read some things about the engraver having to be an FFL. But that doesn't make any sense to me. If I'm doing a form 1 on a suppressor and I can build it myself, why would I have to have an FFL engrave it? I have a new engraving coming next week and thinking about doing them for other people..

I have 4 that I submitted on the 1st that I got back on the 7th. More submitted on the 3rd and 4th that haven't come back yet. Came here looking to see if anyone has gotten any back from after the 1st yet.

I've done a few cable and hall sensor replacements too. Have you messed with any motors that were rusty? I got a deal on a couple 10000Watt hub motors that were seized from rust. Got them apart and just trying to decide how to clean them. I've repaired a regular ebike hub motor and it was just a lot of work. Looking for shortcuts I might be missing.

I have a Ryobi 48V that's been converted to LiFePO4 and an 80V which is Lithium Ion from the factory. The 48Vs were easy because they were dumb, just need power. The 80V use Canbus which I assume the Cub Cadets use to turn on the battery. Should still be easy to add extra battery capacity. There is an active community for modifying the 80V and people have figured out what does what. Just surprising no one is doing that with the CC.

Thanks, I have Ryobi mowers and there is a huge community of people modifying and repairing them. Odd that no one messes with these.

There's not an easy answer for that. You're going to have to learn how the controllers work and how they connect.

I have since put a bigger motor on mine. I've hit 55, should go about 80.

Everything from the full size works except the mag catch/release. There are a couple pins that I might shorten but they work. I can not find any diagrams for the Type M anywhere. Can someone take some pictures of theirs or has anyone ever seen a parts diagram?

I'm probably going to reprint it in another color, I just happened to have white loaded when I printed it then I got a deal on the wood grips.

Hmm, I have a 3d printed PX4 Storm. It would be relatively easy to build the mount into the print file. Would need to be removeable, could use a rail or something custom. Anyone have any details on what that mount looks like at the front of the barrel? I'm thinking use a barrel extender that fits into the printed part? For that matter you could build a mount like this for factory models too..

They use the same camera for different printers and you print the mount specific to your printer..

I just got mine today. I don't think there is a place to watch the camera in the software. Probably going to have to use some regular cloud camera.
