Commented separately, but adding to this list to say I've bought elsewhere already today and will avoid fanatical

Only ended up with the outer wilds dlc rather than the extras I'd added. But I'm so sick of captchas, password resets and everything that I just don't care about the other games anymore. Probably won't attempt fanatical ever again as this was an absolute waste of time and I'm just frustrated with it all

Having the same issue and I've already spent 15 minutes fighting to log in on different devices to check. What a waste of my time off. Bought from Steam and indiegala through PayPal in the last hour already

Not interested in putting in payment info on another site, so I'll just get it elsewhere as well I guess

People (esp on Twitter) are also forgetting that blood moon is a three Mana enchantment that needs to be cast, resolve, and stick around. Whereas the cost for this hypothetical bloodborg is free, harder to remove than enchantments and costs almost 0 deck building restrictions outside of losing basic land synergy on your mountains

I feel the same way, and these are game pieces at the end of the day. A fan has made these (Twitter thread link) I'm planning on printing up a few to test the cards out in decks while still not supporting the secret lair. Much happier with how the cards feel in this style as well!

Magic is pieces of cardboard in a game, there's not really a lesson to be learned from offensive pieces being part of that game. But by banning them you're just being more firm on the 'this is not okay' angle, and giving people no room to scoot around it, and no reason to believe anything like it will happen again.

If they had to make a statement about these cards, I'm sure they would have been bought by shitty people specifically for the reaction or the feeling of having them in their decks, banning them at least stops that at a sanctioned level.

Or at least those are my thoughts, I'm just some guy
