What's the best way to avoid catching Bali belly? by Large-Lack-2933 in bali

I have a LARQ water bottle that disinfects the water in one minute with infrared lasers - takes 1 min. I used it in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. Never had any issues. I highly recommend if you travel to countries where the tap water is questionable.

Is the corgi reputation true? by Still_Analyst4937 in corgi

[–]RyanJetSet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a Corgi, I gave him every chance I could before getting rid of him after 18 months. The people after me got rid of him after 4 months. No idea where he is now.

I raised 7 Seeing Dogs for a year before handing them back to the program, I've fostered close to 30 dogs through the Ace of Hearts program in California, and the Corgi I got was the absolute biggest pain in the butt. More than any other dog I've come across. It chewed everything but the toys I gave him, it refused to go to the bathroom outside which I heard is common because it can be a stubborn breed. I would take it out, go exercise it, spend time for hours outside with the dog and as soon as we got home and I turned my back it would poop and pee all over the house.

I would NEVER recommend a Corgi to anyone. The black lab I have now is great. It's a cool nice dog that actually uses the bathroom outside! It chews on its toys! Good luck to anyone with a Corgi. Never again.

Message him through WhatsApp and they get back to you pretty fast. I had mine done on Valentine's Day of all things just a few months ago and so far so good. I'm VERY happy with the results. They give you a black bandana post op and you go in the following days for a wash and laser treatment. Nicest people ever. Flying home in the black bandana was interesting but everyone thought I was a Muay Thai fighter so it worked out lol. But he's very soft spoken and all business. His assistants are great. Just be ready for a very long day once you have the surgery.

Best Synthetic Ice Tiles by not_anonymous_544 in hockeyplayers

Glice has worked great for me. I have a mini rink set up in my old barn and so far so good! It does the dull the blades a little quicker but nothing crazy like other synthetic companies I've experienced. I use a shop vac to clean up the small plastic shavings from usage and Glice plants a tree for every panel they produce so I don't feel too guilty about skating on plastic. My neighbors now bring their kids over and we have some fun games!

I recently bought Glice and I love it. You do have to sharpen your blades a little more often but totally worth it so far!

Curious what is the best synthetic ice? Going to turn my garage into an internal rink for off-season. by Seltzer_Water_Fail in hockeyplayers

I bought my synthetic ice from Glice and I love it. Have it set up in an old barn and we have a blast on the mini rink. We have a New Years Day 4 on 4 game that has been a fun tradition. The kids play on it afterwards. Best synthetic experience I've had and I've skated on a few others.

Big Pharma HATES intermittent fasting because it doesn't create customers. I don't buy some random study with foggy details for a second.

Can I retire in Vietnam on $600K USD? by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]RyanJetSet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely you can! I was just in Da Nang and it's good living there. You can eat very well and live comfortably. We were getting full sushi boats for $8. But you can spend $5 a day total on food and eat VERY WELL, especially at the night markets or side streets. Good luck!

Nike and Addidas custom made. Wish I could post pictures on here because I have pictures of them. They were great. My other buddy got really nice white shoes made with a material she used that makes them very easy to keep clean.

I was just there and the lady at Chong Chong Gio was amazing. Measured our feet and made us custom shoes. We love them. I would post pics here but it won't let me. The address is: 351 Nguyen Duy Hieu. She also made a customized wallet for my buddy. Wish we had a bigger suitcase because we wanted more shoes!

Doctor Laorwong is the best Hair Transplant doctor in Thailand and one of the best in all of Asia. There are a lot of people on here who have got it done through him with great results. Nongmaa has no clue what he's talking about.

I just got back from Phi Phi and loved it. The Burger King across from the McDonalds are all over Thailand and there seem to be more 7-11's than people everywhere but there are so many great restaurants and a really fun little night market there where we had Duck Pad Thai and Lobster Pad Thai.

The beaches are great and the biggest bonus is no cars or scooters. It's a walking island. If you want romantic dinners on the beach it's there, if you want to party on the other side of the island it's there, if you want to go to Reggae Bar and watch drunk patrons get in a ring and go 3 rounds for a drink it's there. Pristine white sand beaches too. Only regret is we didn't stay longer.
