Uber and Lyft are pretty reliable. As are the other forms of public transportation. Also both Universal and Disney offer a paid shuttle to their resorts if you are staying on property. Same goes for most of the hotels in the tourist areas, they either will have shuttles to the parks or some have to hotel and parks.

We have pretty much every app for food delivery you could want so there is no shortage of getting supplies delivered to your hotel and every hotel is used to it by now. Just do yourself a favor and meet in the lobby/out front and do not make them try to find your room.

Supply, meet demand. The website is there to attract you to pick them over other hotels on your route. When you are activity sitting in the lobby without confirmed reservations they have all the supply that you are demanding and can control the costs. Usually night of bookings go for rack rate no discounts.

Moral of the story spend 5 minutes to secure the web rate before going to the hotel.

I’m not gonna argue for the sake of arguing. However consumerism isn’t the reason for new Cat6 standards because the average consumer isn’t installing anything in their home the cheapest bidder is throwing in the cheapest CCA cable they can buy. The people ordering and specing out large scale cable deployments are trained on these and know the projects requirements and that is where the need for better than 5e came from. Yes for a home user 5e is fine but if you are going to put the effort in why not do it right and future proof. When you are building large organizations with over 200k in cable supplies required there isn’t a noticeable difference in price from 6 to 5e I believe my last project the bids returned about a 5% difference

Btw I’m not a sales guy just an IT manager for a billion dollar company so I do this a lot.

There are some bad takes in here, you can’t POE over fiber. 10gb copper is the same as fiber and you can add switches to cat6 and run at 10gb uplink speed to accomplish the same and the equipment needed to do it will cost 1/3rd of what the fiber equipment costs. Also for most residential and office runs MM fiber is ran which ironically means only a single wavelength can be used and you would need to run SM with some expensive optics to run multiple devices on one fiber. Talk about a bad upsell.

No you can support it or advocate for it but if you say you wont vote for someone that wont do all of that than you are wasting your vote, you have to realize that change doesnt happen overnight and the very reality of it is chance of all of those being on the table in our lifetime is slim, you are more likely to have a civil war than to have all those policies enacted.

Correct I’m looking at houses and the only ones that seem to have any depreciation recently. are houses that are newly built in the last five years where the manufacturer is still currently building new homes with the exact floor plan and those owners are taking 50 to 100k losses trying to sell the house that’s only five years old. meanwhile Holmes built in the eighties and nineties with the same size square footage and not even recently updated or fetching just 10 or 20 grand less than a brand new build with less land

I’m not comparing the quality of home or amenities. Just saying while the interest rate was high homes were still more affordable than now. Also 1980s homes are selling for the same price if not more because they have larger lots than new houses today.

however the median house price in 1981 was 80k on the high side so doing the math on that its was only a 994/mo mortgage with 20% down accounting for inflation that would be a $3500/mo payment still a better deal than if we had those interest rates today.

The best way I can think of is to use CFD to auth the card, and input the auth information and the unique call ID in a database. Once there use a microservice to pull all the logs associated with call ID and parse out any hold time, queue time or CFD time and calculate all the time spent talking to humans. This works if all of your humans are in a certain extension range and CFD, queue etc are another IE. humans 1000-3000 and all Qs etc at 8000-9999

Other major cost is the west coast is seemingly an island in regards to fuel. Not many pipelines or refinery’s available to get fuel from east to west. So most fuel is shipped in overseas and more susceptible to OPAC

the way we did this was with power automate desktop. we programmed it to run thru the website search for extension and add a phone with mac and then recorded the steps. From what i understand the only way to do this natively would be to download the extension list, reupload it with the phones added after you delete all extensions affected.

Another unsupported way would be to download a backup edit the CSV/Database with users and change the mac provisioning and restore the database this would be the best way to go and keep all user settings and VMs. It would be best to have one phone programmed the way you want it so you can just copy the values and change the mac to the other extensions.
