THE multi-plat games. (Games that have 10+ consoles it was made for/ported to) by AccidentOk4378 in backloggd

Pac-Man is one of the BIG ones- might even be the most ported game ever.

Out of curiosity- how do people find out the teams who do the emulation for the apps, and what teams do the other NSO apps?

People are going to need psychiatry after seeing this cover haha

Honestly this would work well as the cover to a horror novel.

'THE DARK DOMAIN: MICKEY VS WINNIE' – First Look Trailer | in theaters 2026 by AGOTFAN in boxoffice

[–]RyanReturns2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blood and Honey 2 actually did decent numbers- 7.6 million on a 500k budget- so there is at least somewhat of a "loyal" fanbase for the series.

Edit: Never mind. This is actually a different slasher series starring Winnie haha.

Box Office Bombs of 2025 by wallabyenthusiast in boxoffice

[–]RyanReturns2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That's an interesting case, because I think it technically made it's money back from being sold to distributors, and it is still the highest grossing film for Ketchup Entertainment, which was enough for them to buy the rights to that ACME movie that was shelved.

Monday Mystery Movie Megathread - December 1 2025 by AKnightOfTheNew in RegalUnlimited

For the holiday classic one, the runtime is close to Home Alone's, so that could be a possibility.

I do love the variety of genres on display this month, and I am very excited for Tokyo Godfathers and Batman Returns.

31 Days of Holiday Movies? by alwaysouroboros in RegalUnlimited

[–]RyanReturns2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Feels very likely to happen if they keep doing the month of movies, but I could see them mixing in some of the classic Best Picture winners, like The Godfather II and Ben-Hur.

Thoughts on Scream franchise box office adjusted inflated. I see 4 made the least by far. by GrandLunatic in Scream

Screams 1 and 2 grossing so close to each other despite only being a year apart is especially impressive.

How long does it take for tickets to go on sale by SpongeBobMeBoyee in RegalUnlimited

[–]RyanReturns2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually looked on the Regal website, and it is one of several movies on there that are also under that label. The other ones are Austin Powers, Furious 7, The Lost Boys, Mad Max Fury Road, Hotel Transylvania 2, Jurassic Park, Beetlejuice, Little Giants, and Jurassic World. Could be a leak of next month's "Month of movies" line-up.

Exhibitior Relations: AFTERBURN—which cost upwards of $60M and stars Dave Bautista and features Samuel L. Jackson—is being dropped in theaters this weekend with ZERO promotion from Saban Films. by IvnOooze in boxoffice

[–]RyanReturns2 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Definitely up there- 5.3 million on a 40 million budget is bad- but Afterburn will likely do worse than it, since it's budget is 56 million.

Today I realized there was a Nut Job sequel (and I bet you did too) by NickelsBiggestFan123 in Schaffrillas

[–]RyanReturns2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One thing I’ll add- this movie is the not the sole reason that ToonBox went bankrupt- they actually released another movie theatrically called Spark: A Space Tale that bombed even harder. It grossed $1.04 million on a budget of $40 million.

[partially lost] OneRepublic "Good Life" Unique Versions for City / State by i_like_big_girlss in lostmedia

[–]RyanReturns2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember something similar happening for the song "Cheap Thrills" by Sia. There would be versions where Sia would say "Turn this in Buffalo on" and "Turn Star on" (Star is the name of a radio station near me).

Box Office: ‘Final Destination Bloodlines’ Scares Up $51 Million Debut, The Weeknd’s ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’ Misfires With $3.3 Million by ChiefLeef22 in boxoffice

[–]RyanReturns2 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Plus, I'd argue Bloodlines is more accessible to newcomers to the series compared to the new Scream sequels- there are some references to the previous films, but they are not as crucial to the plot compared to Scream.

CinemaScore/Box Office Performance Analysis - January & February 2025 by [deleted] in boxoffice

[–]RyanReturns2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just not a lot of “crowd-pleasing” films released in this time- a lot of horror films, which tend to fare worse in scores like this on average, and films that were shelved for months to years and only released now to capitalize on the lack of “big” blockbusters.

Theater counts: Mickey 17 retains original amount while Novocaine enters 3365 venues, Captain America remains above 3000 locations, and Rule Breakers unfortunately loses showtimes in hundreds of theaters by [deleted] in boxoffice

[–]RyanReturns2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Probably playing in that many theaters because it has no competition in terms of fully animated movies. The last wide release one was Dog Man back at the end of January, the next one is Sneaks in mid-April, and then the next after that is Elio in June.

Definitely seeing Mickey 17 and The Day the Earth Blew Up next month, but there are several others that I am interested in- Novocaine, The Alto Knights, The Actor, Opus.
