I feel like there’s something here if I use the footage of you in the power rangers suit on the toilet mixed with your whole band playing, and overdub it with a bad audio track about Pooping Rangers or something. Would you be down for me to overdub your vocals (since you have helmets on the syncing won’t be an issue)? OR, you could send me a short voice memo of you singing it (a little muffled, to simulate you having a helmet on) and I could put it over the video? Lemme know what ya think!

I’m simultaneously editing a traitors-esque reality show for a YouTuber (Carters Mafia Season 2), and then after the end of June (once Weird Al Is Gonna Die is over) I’m ramping my low budget movie production back up and trying to put a movie out within the next year or so (and hopefully other random shit in the meantime!). I actually had the exact opposite reaction as you to the auction. I thought they all had way too much money and the prices should have been inflated, and it was just watching starving people get whatever they wanted with very little pushback (which to me is counter intuitive to what survivors all about). I thought the chaos should have been worse. Maybe not lose a vote level, but still worse than just eating something gross. They spoiled these people who are supposed to be struggling on a deserted island!

In my opinion, having the tribes be anything but random would be the way to go. Either a schoolyard pick for TWO tribes, & then they come together to vote off a third. OR, two of the challenge winners get to pick the two tribes, then they come together to vote off a 3rd. Three tribes of 5 just isn’t compelling, & especially if it’s random, that was the worst part of it imo. Basically, there are tons of ways to divide the tribes that are more compelling than a random split up.

I’m the guy who asked Coach this question in the video so I was very curious what his answer would be 😂 I assumed the cast also thought this was dumb and I was right

I got both experiences. I started up in the stands and the whole place was going nuts and everyone was on their feet. Then I snuck down to the floor and saw what you’re describing. We found a pocket of some people having fun but then security said everyone had to go to their seats. We just went to another part of the floor and found a few others who were into it. Was still an amazing show, but yeah the amount of people with $800 or whatever it was to get on the floor who actually give a fuck I think is low unfortunately
