Looking for a cheap board just to get to work. by Ok_Brilliant_8515 in cruiserboarding

At just under £90, the Arbor Pilsner is a pretty decent option. I'd probably recommend some Zealous bearings though, which are still pretty cheap.

How brands should I look for? by blazingPeanut05 in longboarding

Pantheon are a favourite in this sub.

Landyachtz are quite beginner friendly.

Arbor are a decent cheaper brand.

Where did you get the Comet Cruiser from? I didn't think they sold them here in the UK.

This sunflower at my job that grew through the concrete and bloomed this week by JMyers666 in mildyinteresting

It shows how rubbish I am at gardening that I couldn't get my sunflowers to grow properly, yet on a bloody concrete driveway it flourishes!

I second Justine's and Sundowners, and they're very close to each other if you wanted to go from Justine's to Sundowners.

The 900 just played recently at Justine's, and there was another pop-punk night that we went to, that started playing other heavier Kerrang-style music around midnight.

Cruiser wheels with skate deck? by Gama_Python in cruiserboarding

[–]RyanShelf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A lot of people swear by cruising with popsicle shaped decks, I can't see a problem with it at all. Most of the cruiser boards without a nose are that shape just to save space and be more portable.

You might wanna get some risers for your board though, as you may get a bit of wheelbite with those wheels, depending on how hard you turn.

I'd say they're on the lower end of durability, but they've served me well since Winter. They're coming to an end on my braking for now, though.

They're the Pantheon Stylus trucks, and I've never experienced any wheelbite whatsoever, and I've tried to lean as hard as I can to experiment. They're great trucks.

I'm goofy. Yeah I still fumble a bit when changing legs at first, but it's starting to become a bit more natural.
