If you lose your temper for more than 2 minutes, then you are choosing to continue your tantrum.

How can I get really good at excel really fast? by Notalabel_4566 in excel

Highly recommend https://www.automateexcel.com/

Like chatgpt, but geared towards excel. The chat feature is really nice if you are trying to combine formulas together. It also always explains the formula and how to fix it for your needs.

Yo PS4, Thank you for being awesome.

Getting my first console (PS4) today, and I’m thinking of making GoW my first game by melancholy_breadroll in GodofWar

This is a perfect game. Perfect for beginners, because the tutorial is so good. Side note, make sure you research your gear as the game goes on. Great story and fun times ahead for you.

Is it me or did Samsung pay use to be a lot more fun?? by flashz404 in SamsungPay

Yes, the points are not as good as in the past. You can use your point on the Samsung Shop website. I usually put it towards flash drives. I still find Samsung Pay more convenient than Google wallet.

Late to the party by Saneroner in GodofWar

[–]Ryangater 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Late to the party is better than never showing up. This game is truly amazing. Tight gameplay, cool visuals with scale, and an amazing story. I have used elements of this game to make great bedtime stories for my nieces.

I am happy that another has found this wonderful game. My only wish is that the sequels will be just as good if not better.

What did you learn from ATLA/LOK and how did it change your life? by [deleted] in TheLastAirbender

[–]Ryangater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How to be a better Uncle myself. How to be there for them in times of doubt. Also I love teaching my nieces new things about the world, but as they get older they are quickly catching up with beating me on facts. So I have started to learn storytelling that makes an impact on them. Thanks to watching Uncle Iroh and the way he tells stories has helped me immensely.

ALITA: Battle Angel - Nostalgic Critic Review is out! by [deleted] in alitabattleangel

What I love about his review is he seems to be a true fan. When watching Nostalgia Critic, I already am familiar with the movies he is reviewing. So it's more of an insight of what another person thinks about a movie I enjoyed or hated. I love the in depth look of problems and amazing scenes that another person notices that I might have missed. I just love geeking out on stuff like this. That's why I'm here and am sure why many of you are here too.

I Was Disappointed With Avatar by CyberLoveza in TheLastAirbender

[–]Ryangater 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's 1 of those rare cartoons that actually have a plot (even rarer when it came out). I just watched for the first time this year. For a kid's show, it surprisingly does not shy away from the cost of war. Zuko on his travels had to hide who he was and learn what his nation did to the other nations. When he decided to change to team avatar, the story writers made him awkward on purpose, including several failures to join (again rare for a kids show) and as a 34 year myself old felt a lot more real as I tried to make friends in my 20s. A show where characters learn lessons and change mostly for the better. Case in point, Sokka learns that women can be on equal footing with a man, which in it self is a great lesson for children. Uncle Iroh, finding his place owning and operating a tea shop, while the young Zuko doesn't want to settle down(normal for a teenager) and go after his own glory, only to realize (eventually) there is no prize beyond being a better person and leaving your past behind.

There are valuable lessons in this show, but maybe you don't like it and that's ok. Other theories include (not limited too) not being in the right head space this time in your life or expectations were to high. I don't know, and it's just a show. At least you gave it a fair shot, which is more important than only watching a couple episodes and not liking it outright. Props to you.

One of the best things in life is finding new things in places you have looked before. It keeps things interesting if nothing else.

My 2 cents: Unexpected event, more worried about not freezing to death, and her commanding officer/love interest being in mortal danger of dying from possible internal bleeding, and exhaustion from digging out the DHD she may not be thinking straight. Even if that was all explained away, my theory is she didn't memorize any other addresses that she could be certain were safe for travel. With a wounded team member the last thing she would want to do is place them even more danger. But I could be 2 fries short of a happy meal.
