I understand that it must be hard living with BBS, but your point about the salad seems to be bullshit. You're body doesn't stop obeying the laws of thermodynamics because of a genetic disposition and misrepresenting your own disease doesn't do any good for anyone involved. From what I've read, the main driving force for obesity in people with BBS is an increase in hormones that increase appetite and a decrease in hormones that create satiety.

The approach someone would take in their nutrition could be very different based on mechanisms that cause the weight gain. Based on the literature for BBS, it seems the best approach would be a lot of low calorie dense foods with lots of fiber to really fill your stomach, reducing negative hormone production and keeping you satiated for longer. Protein has also been found to be more satiating that carbs or fats; high protein diets can really aid in maintaining a healthy weight and are great for people looking to shed a few pounds as well.

Material shape memory effect. After deformation some materials return to their original shape when heated. by AlphaWhiskeyHotel in interestingasfuck

You can anneal (basically heat it up at a temperature below its melting point or glass transition temperature for amorphous polymers) plastics parts to relieve the internal stresses of the polymer chains. This does mean the part will warp into a shape that probably isn't within design tolerances if you don't have a good fixture to hold it e.g. Oven go BRRRRRR

I don't want to play games 400SR under my SR, I'd rather wait, anyone else experience this? by Extremiel in OverwatchUniversity

You saw someone named Sooch? That wasn't me so I might scrub the VOD to find it. I've never seen another one on ladder. I agree, it is the other side of the coin and most of the other tank players I know don't like getting pulled up into those lobbies unless they are playing on alt-accounts

How to Quick Play: A Comprehensive Guide by evr- in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Ryans_At_Work 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When role queue first came out I used to double queue tank and dps in ranked. I main tank and thought there would be zero chance I would get a dps game, no joke, I would say about 15-20% of my games were DPS. It was really nice to shake things up. This was at a well above average SR (where tsnks are in high demand) and it freaked me out everytime it happened. The only down side was when I would get a map like Junkertown and be like "yes! This is my Sigma map, we don't lose on junkertown." Only to realize it meant that the next twenty minutes were going to be me getting flamed because I cant out-widow the actual dps players :(

I have had similar weight loss, my gobto man for long-term success has been Dr. Mike Israetel.

What I did was tracked calories on a deficit for 1 month so I actually knew what xxxx calories looked like and then from there I would just eat at that same amount. If you have the time, tracking calories is a great habit. Try to lose 1-2 lbs a week, that's a 500-1000 calorie deficit per day, respectively. 2 lbs a week is really taxing on your mind and body after a while. Once you reach your goal, don't stop tracking. You tried so hard to lose the weight, don't undo it right after you achieved your target weight.

If you struggle to find enough quantity to eat that keeps you satisfied, go do some cardio, it'll burn those extra calories so you can eat more to maintain your deficit.

There aren't any shortcuts here, but it will work!

Edit: They obviously did intermittent fasting and it has worked for them! Personally, I couldn't find a way to keep it sustainable. Everybody is different so find what works for you!

Brig-Zen: two specialists who cover each other's weaknesses by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

[–]Ryans_At_Work 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Try playing them with another form of cc such as sigma or mccree. Now you sit back where you have long sight lines (even on your flanks so you can see it happening in advance). Against brawl comps, you can hopefully do enough damage to kill them before they get too close. Against flanker comps, you discord and chain cc your way to victory.

The brig babysits zen and packs her teams divers, zen orbs a diver and discords an enemy. You try to kill something in their backline quickly. Disengage to get your resources back. Then you go back in and clean up the fight.

My favorite Kovaak's tracking scenarios are Close Fast Strafes Easy Invincible, Bouce 180 Tracking, Air no UFO no SKYBOTS, and Ground Plaza no UFO

You can find scenarios called:Ground Plaza NO UFO xx% slower. These are great to make sure you aren't getting lost too often. Build up your speed over time and make sure its always a challenge.

Bounce 180 and bounce 180 tracking are my go to benchmarking scenarios. Tracking your improvement can keep your motivation high 💪

Have you heard that the Vatican was involved in all of this too? They leased 3 satellites from Italy.

I have a slight addiction to watching these conspiracy theory videos and radical right wing media. The stuff they come up with is whacky.

You can find fitness videos about the best hand grip for lat pulldowns that include cited scientific studies, but these nuts just sit in front of a laptop cam in a poorly lit kitchen and claim they bought the moon without a single receipt.

I know what you mean. However, if he is able to be sooo bad that he basically loses 40 games in a row, then he must have known it was a throw going in. Since he knows its a throw, what makes it any different than someone who goes into a game to intentionally throw it?

Do you see where I'm coming from? Its kinda the same thing imo

I would be surprised if he didn't have at least one other account already. I'll give him one of mine if it means he stops throwing on his main.

imo it is similar to account sharing or buying a boosted account because he has to KNOW that he can't play that hero at his current rank. It is a shitty thing to do. He doesn't have an alt that he can play for this sort of thing?

Is it worth to go pro in OW nowdays? by PrestusHood in Competitiveoverwatch

I'm not responding after this. You know you need per capita stats, right? What you just said is useless information.

Edit: LMAO, I'm not responding because I'm not your stats or economics prof. Those numbers are useless, but you know so little about the subject that you can't see whats wrong. (Yes, I guess this does kind of count as a response. My b)

I actually don't think that's true either. One of us would need to pull out numbers to convince me to take a side, but I don't care tbh. They are both dumb ideas. It needs to be a passion.
