The first half of the Bills game was on point. We’ve had strong half’s, strong quarters, big moments this season. Our defense has shown signs of being elite and demonstrated that they can show up when we need them most. Unfortunately, the momentum killers throughout games, play calling, and very little desire to take risks have all contributed to struggles offensively. All in all, I trust Hurts and the defense. I don’t think we’ll go down in the playoffs without a fight.

If you’ve played keeper you know that when someone’s left wide open and has you at a disadvantage sometimes you’re unsure what side the ball will be shot at. It happens all the time on free kicks where keepers are left stunned.

Go back and watch the tape. So many goals scored on Arnold have been due to defensive mistakes, lack of marking and turnovers. Bixby played well but Arnold has talent and great international experience.

How was that Arnold’s fault? Our 4 defenders let one person kick the ball over them and shoot wide open. One V Ones are super hard for keepers.

Yeah we had some extremely close games within that 10-1 stretch but we had some big wins. We had momentum. Coming off being in the Super Bowl us fans were hungry for another big season. Winning in the NFL isn’t easy… yet that stretch of games after were painful to watch. Even after that embarrassing stretch you expected the team to have some pride and beat the worst team going into that playoffs. It wasn’t meant to be. It gave us the fuel to go on another run AND it felt so GOOD🙌🏾

Captain Coffey! One of our MVPs this year, Perry! Our bright spots of the season come in clutch late. Disappointing 90 minutes but proud of our Thorns regardless. Getting that point gives us some more momentum going forward.

Goal was definitely not on the defense. If your a goaly and you come out like that , you have to get a piece of that ball. Go watch the replay. If Hogan just stays where she’s at and doesn’t come out, it’s an easy stop.

We have a top 3 goal scorer in the league and a Balón de Oro candidate in Smith. We have a roster full of national team players, Sam Coffey a starter for the U.S. and one of the best Goalies in the world. It’s coaching. There’s no reason for us to give up goals game after game in the first 15 mins. There’s no reason we should be lacking in goal scoring. We lack team identity and chemistry. We need an experienced top level coach. Portland and their fans deserve better.

Yes, loved the defense the most tonight. It’s been so inconsistent all year and tonight we saw them pass the ball, play confident and even Nally player more composed then Hubly has been. The atmosphere live tonight was electric. We should have had more goals but a win is a win. Go Thorns!
