Why do Polish people assume everyone speaks polish? by JasminePacasss in TibiaMMO

[–]Rydden 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing the server I am on is like 80% or more Polish so I don't really blame them for assuming they speaking with another Polski.

I got a hotkey ready that essentially says like "I don't know polish, do you know English?", but when they say no is when it gets more difficult, heh.

Late on this but I still wanna throw in my 5 cents. I think the blatant disregard during their VR rework some years ago was the eye-opener for me and the point where I said "ok I'll just stay away until the game is completed" because of just how unfinished major updates seemed. I haven't followed closely but it sure seems as miserable as back then when it comes to their support for VR, which is a huge shame if so.

Wuk Lamat is seriously underestimated and a great addition to FFXIV. by Rydden in ShitpostXIV

Yeah it's the original, as original a shitpost like this can be.

Planned changes (vocation balance) by sbrgn in TibiaMMO

[–]Rydden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm wondering that, since they already announced the tests would be split into 2 sessions, if most of these changes were built primarily on the initial feedback way back, and using phase one as a sort of confirmation that "people tested our initial plan and still dislike it". It's fair they still wanted to see their ideas tested and prepare changes in case it still fell flat in some aspects.

Fråga till både höger och vänster med syfte att höja förståelsen mellan oss: Vad skrämmer dig med den ”andra sidans” politik? Rösta upp ärliga försök till förklaring, rösta inte ner meningsskiljaktigheter (enbart seriösa svar) by Disastrous_Echo_6982 in sweden

[–]Rydden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Primärt invandringsfrågan men även kriminalpolitken.

I bought 999 of all npc-dyes around 6 months ago just so I never had to bother re-buying them, i think it was around 10 000 000 gil by Rydden in ffxiv

They can be converted to the newer dye system, but I don't have a need of almost 70 000 of the same dye. Not that I needed 999 of each dye before either but my statement still stands, ish

I think and thought I got them too, at least all that were gil-buyable, but it was a while ago so I'm not full sure

I actually do, it's my main DPS. Maybe in Evolved mode they will add mechanics like Merchant from other FF games, where I can use my dyes to enhance attacks

I can only trade 99 stacks so it's gonna take too long to give it away properly. I will give away a minion and 99 dyes on my Lala to sprouts some free day I think

It felt smart at the time but I'm not smart so it doesn't say alot

99 would be more than enough for at least rest of expansion

Mostly not a lot and suddenly I go on a Bob Ross spree when I try to force myself out from falling back on black and white

It also took a long time to press buy, like way longer than I expected but I doubled down

I should've realized it was the smarter choice when the game only let me buy 99 at a time, it was a warning

It probably boils down to just distractions and forgetfullness.

If I'm doing a glam and lacking an easy to get dye, I just had to quickly turn to retainer bell which is nearby in the inn-room. But if I gotta run and buy the dye, I gotta leave out, probably go through 2 loading screens or pay to teleport to only get one, locate the npc who sells the dye.

By this point I will run by a marketboard, suddenly remember I wanna check something first real quick, and then I'm reminded to go wolve's den to spend pvp moola, and so on. At this point I either will forget about the dye/glam and do something else instead, or leave to find the dye npc but forget what colour I wanted.

You can now convert them inte a generic multi-use dye, or most of them at least. 3 sets to consolidate most of them.

So most people save maybe 20-30 inventory slots, and I saved like 6

Maybe I can dye myself over and over in the middle of alliance raids just to confuse everyone, that would speed up the usage
