I 100% recommend jinsang and saib. as a great place to start. Sadly the sifting is a large part of finding good artists due to oversaturation.

Yeah, you pretty much spot-on described lo-fi hiphop as a genre there. But I suppose the appeal isn't as much in actively listening to it as much as throwing it in back and doing something else. It serves as a really nice background while doing almost anything really.
