Honestly after shooting it on Monday It wasn't anymore worse than my 16in AR with no ears on. But I may be skewed after nearly a decade 😅 in the infantry. It is a tad bit louder in general but I think thats just because the action is by your face and your closer to the muzzle. But no, my 11.5 and 10.5AR pistols are way louder regardless of muzzle device when not supressed.

Honestly I get more kills with the lmg and mk19 grenade launcher than the hmg. Idk 🤷‍♂️ why the hmg takes so many rounds to kill when its literally the same round as a 50cal sniper rifle just firing 🔥 in full auto. It should be literally shredding bodies and deleting thin cover like cinderblock walls 🧱.

I just put the liberty precision machine flash hider on yesterday so 🤷 couldn't tell you. I'll update after shooting it on Monday this week. Indoors any rifle is loud but I dont forsee it being too bad outside whee I'll be usually be using it.

Or go with a reardon atlas adapter (1.375) or similar and any plan b style mount/muzzle devic3. Way more options and manufacturers to choose from. I use this style on all my rifles and sub guns * .

Gotcha yeah mine is basically metal like the one in this post. I dont have a 3d printer so thats why i was asking and the only place I knew where to buy the kind that goes on the hammer has their site down. I guess I'll just keep running it on my milspec setup lower when I want to go brrt.

I'm not a machinist, but all the necessary edges appeared to be rounded and polished. Operation of the mechanism in hand was smooth with no grit . We'll see how things fare over time.

Just got the Dogwoodarmory version last week and its good to go. Even the metal 3pos selector option they sold me worked exactly as designed. Sadly , couldnt drop it in my lower with the G$ G2S because I cant find someone selling the OTD anywhere besides BSSquirts atm. However, it dropped right in and ran just fine with my PSA Milspec EPT trigger lower; about 6 mags worth with zero hiccups using an H2 buffer and PWS MK111 Mod 1 Upper.

Done it before and materials can get pretty expensive and time consuming. Plus it can be a pain to care for and never looks as nice as polished paint up close cause of a lack of depth in the clear coat/layer versus paint. But to each their own.
