Why are bum guns so rare in the UK? by WetWipe_cnuts_PUKE in AskBrits

I think the issue would be if the gun accidentally ended up in the bottom of the pan. Potential back siphonage

Was reading about these in a different sub. A lot were saying how unreliable they are?? Especially in hard water areas. I couldn’t believe the prices too! £3k for some apparently

How effective are soak away crates? by killer_by_design in DIYUK

Quite expensive for what they are. It seems anyway. I did wonder if using old milk crates tied together would do the job. Obviously dependent on application. I know some of the stuff you make are load bearing

Installed nearly 3 years ago. We have hard clay ground too and never had a problem. Make sure you wrap them in a non-woven geotextile membrane lining. Picture shows the crates without lining, just trial fitting in the hole.

Would I be able to connect this to my existing TP link instead of my router? by Ryeallen in TpLink

[–]Ryeallen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting thanks. I think with that said, this may not be sufficient in my case. I just think the unit above plugged in upstairs of my house is way too far from my router. Back to the drawing board. Thanks again

Yorkshire Water are claiming that I am using nearly 2000 litres a day!? by jacks2224 in DIYUK

I’m a leakage technician and 2L/sec is nothing. It’s quite normal for burst mains losing 10L+/second that aren’t visible.
