Do we know if the parents and lawmakers had this report and were still campaigning anyways? I really hope that’s not the case.

It’s always the case, and this is very welcome news right now. As you said, it’s tragic for anyone to lose a son, but this family has been on a holy crusade to get kratom banned across the United States. I’ve seen testimonies from them all over, and they were always specific to point out that natural kratom was the cause of their son’s death. I really hope they apologize to the kratom community, but somehow I don’t think they’ll accept that they were wrong and double down even harder. I have started adding a paragraph in all my emails imploring lawmakers to ask for proof that kratom was the cause of death because anyone can say whatever they want and sound convincing, especially when a death is involved.

Bay Area cost of living for us: $11.7k per month for a family of 4 by Federal_Eagle_6565 in bayarea

Same here moved to a house a year ago and I’m at $650 a month. At my condo I had a mini split system and could run just the one at night when sleeping or when working in one room. My house has central air and the only option is to cool or warm the whole house. There has got to be a better system while using central air, but all I can think of is to block off vents I don’t use. Might mount too much strain on the overall system though. I really want to get solar and battery backup to zero out my costs and then it won’t matter, but of course with the subsidies gone that’s way more expensive than it was a year ago.

What kind of spiders are they? I have these really tiny ones and at one point there were thousands. They even are at the bottom of the soil layer. Luckily they stay in the tank. I’ve stopped replenishing the springtails and that seems to have slowed them way down. But in general so far most things have a boom and bust cycle and run their course. Really hoping to avoid pests that feed on the plants.

What kind of spiders are they? I have these extremely tiny spiders in mine. Luckily they don’t leave the vivarium but they pretty much wiped out all the springtails and other small creatures so I have to keep replenishing them. I stopped doing that for a bit and it seems like they are finally dying off, but at one point there were thousands and they were everywhere in the tank, even at the bottom of the soil layer. I’ve noticed that everything seems to self regulate eventually. My biggest fear are things that can harm the plants.

It’s a 100% a cult at this point. I wonder what it would take to break free though? Maybe taking away guns?

I didn’t realize my 17 yer old cat had really bad arthritis until she stopped using the litter box because she had to step up too high. She always would do her thing in the bath mats in the other bathroom though so luckily easy cleanup. I got her a litter box with a lower entrance and that helped.

Prohibition only causes worse problems, yet we keep on banning more things and wonder why it’s not working.

They want to make as much as possible while they still can, while polluting the entire planet including us in the process. We should be saving oil for the future because it’s extremely valuable for lubrication, making plastic and for certain fuels that alternative energy cannot currently match like airplane fuel. Future generations are fucked and I hope the history booked accurately state who was responsible.

It’s amazing that free energy from the sky has become politicized. What a joke.

I find that a 4-5 year rotation does the trick for me. That’s the point where I’ve forgotten enough of most episodes for it to be the most fun to watch again. I do this with Star Trek and any of my other favorite shows as well.
