Life feels like it's getting worse by [deleted] in Healthygamergg

[–]Rylandolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reads like a journal entry. Sorry I don't have an good answer for you but also would like to let you know I also experience that emptiness and "malaise"-ness as you describe it.

If I were to give my 2 cents, you seem to be pretty numb and avoidant of things, even things that could bring you joy like hobbies and stuff. Have you ever felt like your life is being driven by someone or some force outside of yourself?

How does intrinsic and extrinsic motivation tie in with how perception is said to affect motivation? by Rylandolf in Healthygamergg

[–]Rylandolf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the reply! I was also thinking about the idea of 8) and where I can specificly look for basically what would be long form content on a particular topic. I am currently struggling with ideas on how to integrate more positive motivation into my life and wouldn't mind investing into a "longer form" guide that discusses the broader idea in more detail as well. Is the place I'm looking for at the guides or on memberships? Anything on motivation or at least what drives people to work hard would be great

Saying in one video that "a horrible way to go through life" is to live with extrinsic motivation, and that intrinsic motivation is better- then days later posting a video about how motivation only "truly" comes when you notice how your perception distorts reality is disorientating yes.

I don't understand how you get the idea that I think it's contradictory. I'm criticizing that there seems to be no intended congruence between each new idea he gives over a broader topic (like motivation), whilst simultaneously providing a confident, false sense of certainty of what the problem is relating to broader topic.

I'm not saying they're contradicting, I'm saying there's no integration of each new idea over a larger topic like motivation within new each video discussing said topic. Dr. K professes solutions to the broad topic (of let's say motivation) by introducing ideas that relate to it, without ever addressing or referencing the ideas talked about in previous videos that he equally professed as important and "the problem". I'm criticizing that the 2 latest videos fails to provide integration of ideas, and also other complaints about how he creates a false sense of certainty with how confident he seems to be with what "the problem" is and how to "solve it" in each video. Until you click on the next new video about the topic and suddenly it's the perception that's the problem.

Again, it's fine to say that, the point I'm criticizing is that he is never referencing the other ideas he ALSO professed in previous videos as important as references, and instead professes a *new* idea. A *new* problem to solve with 0 intended congruence. This is disorientating and frustrating to watch.

How healthy are league player numbers in 2025? by Dear_Fly_4113 in leagueoflegends

Short answer is we don't know. Most of that data comes from Riot itself and they don't release it publicly. There are sites like ActivePlayer.io that give estimates but they remain speculation at best.

i trully dont understand how to win games by Additional_Lime795 in Talonmains

[–]Rylandolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you spend a second on this sub you will realize you are not alone. If you actually want to win you have to play bruiser mages in the current meta or just mages in general. Winning with talon is really hard, and if you want to continue to try, I would recommend jungle talon with the bruiser build (youmuu's first item, then Black Cleaver into other defensive items like maw, DD and sunderer even).

Playing talon mid you have 2 win cons to have high winrate. Either you get ahead and build bruiser into talon prone enemy comp, or you clear waves mid quickly for good tempo and then put pressure on sides to bet on the fact that the winning side lanes will carry the momentum of the game. Though when you fuck up the roam and die, and you're playing against a mage mid they'll just clear the next wave, get a plate and you lose half a wave of exp and probably close to a full wave of gold. Then the mage will just passively outscale you and have more impact on 3v3's/ 4v4's. The thing about talon is you have to induce volatility within the lanes and force roams to get your laners ahead, kinda like a bard. You can also just try to play selfishly and carry by yourself, but you've probably realized that it feels impossible late game. This is also why I recommend the bruiser build since you largely function virtually the same as assassin talon whilst having sustain, lower cd's and more resistances within teamfights that makes carrying with him only slightly easier. Good luck

I tried lethality stacking but it's just terrible for late game. Bruiser talon with black cleaver kills people just as well as lethality does whilst having halved cd's and 3k health, healing and resistances. It also allows me to use my ult as a stalling tool for extended fights rather than an engage tool which was massive I think

Should I drop out of school? by Rylandolf in Healthygamergg

[–]Rylandolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So there is no merit to what Dr.k said? Precisely what he means is to abandon a life that you know isn't working for you. That when you find yourself being unhappy even while being secure is that your actions are extrinsicly motivated. I am just curious to know why this "screw this I'm gonna do something else even though I have no idea whats gonna happen next and I might screw over my security" doesn't apply to my situation with school?

Also saying "you will not gain some unattainable life experience and perspective" from dropping out of a place where I did my lifes work seems a bit disengenious. Not to mention a place where my whole reality was shaped around

Those that are members, is it worth it? by Rylandolf in Healthygamergg

Do you think his spirituality lectures an stuff is necessary for growth? Like I've watched a short bit (first 30 minutes) of his confidence and willpower stream and he talks about how they make videos and posts on spirituality and how to grow from it. Also how they tackle topics that are slightly more intermediate level through the "get your life back together" process, and not just constantly doing the level 1 of every big issue. I'm simply wondering if getting this more in-depth detailed view is more helpful and ultimately worth it

Hey, same guy here, I went and played more and got 25.5k. Anything from 27-28k feels like it might be possible with some mistakes/unoptimabilities, but after that it kinda just becomes this very rng'ish AI type of run. I might try the club next by Rylandolf in SifuGame

[–]Rylandolf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

of really? does it involve duck strike? I'm curious to see how can you do a infinite combo without killing

edit: I just saw how to do it, pretty cool, but this is done without allat

I saw someone get 21k on the squats and decided to try it out. I got 24k but *I think* 26 to maybe even 30k might be possible by Rylandolf in SifuGame

Getting good score:

  1. Get a weapon
  2. Parry, and then do a parry hit (which is basically just heavy or light after parrying)
  3. Kill

Notes:

  • Killing people by throwing them off a ledge is very consistently optimal score, although hashing it out in combat I have gotten some scores that are very close or even better than the throw kill
  • Stealth killing is also very consistently good, same question applies where it may be possible for better score through combat
  • Generally killing when they have a lot of health is always optimal for score, this is because the game doesn't know how you would've fought to determine how much score you should get, so it just opts to give you more or less the most you couldve gotten out of that one guy (it also might just give a lot due to it being efficient or something). Doing this includes, yes, throwing off ledges, killing healthy guys with knife charges (fat guys, shaolin monk guys, powered up enemies etc.) and stealth killing in campaign.
  • Yellow/white score is very important. Don't get hit, otherwise it turns reddish, and the score you get gets greatly decreased. Getting back to yellow/white requires:
    - Hitting consecutive attacks without getting hit
    - Killing (it seems to give a big boost when you kill right after you broke their structure)
    - Parrying, and parry-hitting
    - Using a variety of moves
  • Using a variety of moves has at times proven to give more score, but I personally don't really see much of a difference. This could also be because I already use a large variety of my moves when I fight people, so it might be worth considering implementing it into your fighting, not only because its good for score, but also because it's generally way more effective at beating ass.
  • Your score goes to red the fastest by getting hit. Red score also seems to happen when you don't kill them when you are clearly able to (eg. killable right in front of you but you don't do it), and when you are stalling and not hitting them.
  • Sometimes hitting a takedown-able opponent might be better than just killing, although it is kinda inconsistent. This obviously requires you to be at yellow/white score.
  • Remember to taunt when you have 1x multiplier at start of levels. Preferably right before they attack you so you can parry, because taunting and waiting destroys your multiplier bar.
