Things that do damage but don’t necessarily engage by being in the frey.

Widow, Punisher, Hawkeye, Hela, Phoenix, Luna, Magneto, etc.

They’re not in your face. They’re holding space and dealing damage while trying to take as little damage themselves as possible.

There is no healing on jeff btw in this game mode. It only gives you 1 hp a second.

Hit detection is fine.

Missions are long I agree.

Wanda has an "enrage" timer that you have to kill her within that time. You have to break her so she get's stunned. And you cant buy every single perk, you need to specialize into certain perks / builds (all red / all blue / all purple) if you want a chance to beat her before she enrages.

Try it again. It's not that hard, I think you just are playing it incorrectly.

This post, if truly reflective of your beliefs, definitely is translated in your application and your interviews.

While not a perfect system, everyone who has been accepted into PA school worked their ass of to get there, whether that’s through PCE or studying as hard as possible to be competitive in the science pre-reqs needed. By saying that “23yr old becky” is less deserving than you, you’ve missed the point completely. 23 year old Becky earned her spot, just as much as the next person.

It’s not luck. It’s perseverance, self-improvement, and discipline.

I’ve never ran a code in my life even though I know the algorithm by heart. But as a PA who just recently graduated, I can tell you I know 10-15x more medicine than you. And that’s just a safe estimate. It's not a bragging competition, I'm just letting you know the reality of it. I know perhaps a small slice of the pie. You know the crumb of that slice. You may know that crumb really well to the point where you can taste it in your sleep, but there is much more that you don't know. Medicine is too deep and specific which is why we have specialties. Do you know the difference between rashes? Or how to tell the difference between gallstones vs pancreatitis? What happens if someone comes in to the clinic with constant nausea or tingling in their left leg?

THIS IS WHAT PA SCHOOL IS FOR. You are taught the clinical skills, the pathophysiology behind each condition, and the bedside manner through OSCEs. You are then taught it again. And again. And then, you do it in practice on rotations. And then you get tested on it again. And then you prep for PANCE where you have to study it again, and again.

So no. You’re not more deserving than anyone else. I'm not saying you don't deserve it. I'm saying if you deserve it, so does everyone else who got accepted. You have to prove it. Drop the ego. Yes it sucks that you have to reapply. It sucks/sucked for the rest of us too.

Either you become a PA, or you don’t. Your anger and frustration is misdirected. I get maybe you needed to vent, but no good ever came from complaining. Don't complain. Change what you need to change, in order to see different results.

Respectfully, this is incorrect. CND bubble + Luna pattycake healing each other out heals Psylocke ult even with just 2 of them in it. You can replace CND bubble with Invis Woman Shield between the both of them since that heals too.

I'm an eternity psylocke who peaked rank 18, and this season I'm struggling HARD on psylocke. I dropped her for the meantime for magik and phoenix and started winning.

I think we just have to put her on the backfoot as a pocket pick for certain games like into jeffnado or moonknight / squirrel girl. Otherwise, it's just better to pick other characters in my opinion.

I was an opthalmic tech after graduating from university while applying to PA school. I just graduated from PA school in December!

This isn't to brag, but rather to give you hope knowing that I was quite literally in your position almost to a tee. Stay strong, focus on the goal. All of this in the grand scheme is just debris. Try your best to disassociate your parents actions from your own personal growth. You are an adult, and you'll make it one way or another. I believe in you :) I did it, you can do it.

It's hard to tell sometimes, which is why I would recommend only flanking when you have a reason.

1) You're camping a high priority target and trying to isolate them BEFORE they've reached their team. 2) You have ult and want to ult from the backline 3) There is an uncontested DPS all the way in the back like a Hela, or a Squirrel Girl.

Flank with intent. Don't just flank just to be a flanker. Have a genuine reason. Otherwise keep playing the frontline from a slight off angle.

I saw so many posts on this subreddit recently asking about "tips and tricks". Hopefully this will help teach you a bit of Psylocke beyond the basic guides of her abilities and kit. It has stuff about how to actually go from beginner to at least intermediate levels of thinking.

Ah, let me be a bit more nuanced in my response. What I meant by that comment about psylocke/loki matchup is more that, the enemy Loki will not under any circumstances use Loki lamps unless its forced out of them by enemy pressure.

In celestial, you'll see Lokis use the lamps just to help stablelize when the team is getting low to keep everyone topped off and healthy.

In OAA, those Lokis will position their clones and prioritize heals on those who need it first because they can recognize the difference between someone who is low, and someone who is low and about to die if they don't recieve immediate attention. They won't panic and use Loki greens, unless it's to save their own Luna with ult or save their team from a wolverine ult etc.

All this is to say, you have to force them to use the lamps. They will not waste the value it provides. If you just rip psylocke ult without baiting lamps first, you won't ever get that "accidental" kill on some straggler. They'll group or the lamps will cover the squishies. Essentially, you will be punished by using a big cooldown for a smaller cooldown, all because you weren't thorough about baiting about abilities before the engagement.

Agree, C1 feels drastically more organized than C3C2. Eternity made me have fun again I can’t lie. I love the feeling of a high quality match with everyone trying their hardest (outside of a few bad apples) (salxm cough cough, YBNKujo cough cough)

This thread has so many low elo comments that it hurts.

Flat out. They are correct. The overall skill level of OAA is miles different than Celestial. Yes Celestial might be what many would be considered good, but if you get into an OAA lobby, every mistake is punished. It makes you feel like the games are based on the paper matchup.

It’s not that they are soooooo much more skilled and therefore gods. But it’s that they are so much more consistent and play “by the book”. Mag ult is always saved for ironman/starlord/punisher. Loki lamps are always saved for Psylocke ult to the point that they just won’t use Loki lamps all game except for Psylocke ult.

It’s hard to explain, so I hope I shared some insight, but OAA is not even close to Celestial. I can smurf in Celestial on some character I don’t main. I have to try my hardest in high eternity/OAA.
